Premier Paving installed a flagstone patio in Aug 2010 under our upper deck. They did such a good job I contacted them to get an estimate to extend the patio. Brian made a site visit where we discussed the project in detail and was provided a quality estimate by email two days later. The project was completed in one day, two weeks from the initial site visit. They even took steps to minimize grass rutting with movement of wheel barrows and worker traffic by running particleboard from the front of the house to the rear. Top Notch Contractor

DeAngelo was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions patiently since I knew nothing about this type of work. There were minor things that I wanted fixed after the driveway was poured, and he saw to it that all was taken care of and that I was happy. This young man has the right attitude and the right work ethic. He is honest, reliable,k and thorough.

This is my third job with Premier Paving. We had to do the paverstone patio in stages due to the expense of the project, and this is the third of four stages. The first was the patio itself (reviewed here), the second was a retaining wall project (which went great but I never got to reviewing), and the third was this most recent project of wiring the patio for lights and creating a walkway and trash can pad. Based on the results I've seen thusfar, we plan to hire Bryan De'Angelo (owner) of Premier Paving to come out and do the final phase when it's time.
As with both previous jobs, once the job started, it was done, start to finish, pretty quickly. One thing I really dislike about some contractors is when they put in 25% of the effort for four times as long so they can juggle jobs. Bryan attacks one job at a time, and finishes each before starting the next. They began on a Monday morning, and my wife handed him the final check on Saturday after the last bit of finish work was done and the property was cleaned up. They left the area looking great, the pavers were laid in perfectly, and we are completely satisfied with every aspect of it.
The outside edge of one of the sweeping corners came in too sharply, which had the effect of narrowing the walkway and making it look a little off. Even while I was identifying the problem to Bryan, he was saying he'd seen it too, and already had a few additional stones on the way to push the corner out and make it look great.
Bryan's crew are a skilled group, they laid the walkway laser straight, took care of the lighting and rear step rebuilding without a hitch. We can't wait to have them come back out and complete the final phase.

The crew arrived, started pulling out the grass around the front porch and side of the house and pulled up the irrigation pipes.
They put down a sand bed with weed fabric.. they cut the stone and laid it down in a nice lattice pattern to match the existing pavers.
They put in poly sand to fill in the gaps and put a nice seal in there to prevent weeds from coming up..
Overall, an excellent job.
The crew worked very hard and diligently.
I will use them for another project i have planned for the Spring...

Bryan DeAngelo of Premier Paving was recommeded to me by Mike Bragg at the Rock Stone and Sand Yard in Lorton, VA. I had designed and installed the rain pipes, natural gas and electrical lines for an outdoor kitchen and firepit, and purchased some pavers from RSSY for the project. As I planned it, I ended up pushing out the borders and the project grew well beyond my ability to complete it lacking the time, experience, and equipment (such as a skid steer loader). Bryan came out and gave me a fair estimate to complete the work, and we agreed for him to start in a few weeks. Bryan and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would, installed the entire job in a matter of days, and then seeded and put down straw over all the disturbed earth, leaving the site as clean and perfect as I could possibly have wanted. The paver stone patio is sloped perfectly and drains bone dry as soon as the rain stops. He followed our design exactly, hitting every key mark (arcing the curves just so), and worked with us throughout the brief installation process. For one example, after the stairs went in, they appeared too narrow. We had no way of knowing that before they went in, but Bryan agreed, and ripped them out and redid them for little more than the cost of the extra stone. That is bending over backwards to please the customer and give us a great result, and the wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.
