"Bait and switch is when a company advertises a product or service and then claims the product or service is unavailable to get the consumer to buy a more expensive product or service. We offer one price for blowing debris off roofs and out of gutters with high-powered leaf blowers, it works great, and we clean up walkways, decks, driveways, etc., before we leave. Most of our customers stick with this service, and we charge significantly less than the average cost of gutter cleaning. We charge more for hand cleaning gutters and bagging debris as it takes much longer and is more labor intensive, but either service is always available to our customers. We always inform our customers of these options. In this case, the appointment was made with the wife, and the husband was at home when our guys arrived. If the job is $149 to blow them out, we typically charge an additional $50 to bag debris, not $200. ​We tried to explain this, but they would not answer our phone calls or emails.​"
