I reached out to them as I had leaking problem. I thought they were open 24 hours. They lied. They kept canceling my appointment. Disappointed. Do not recommend.

3-4 hours late consistantly past latest set time or did not bother to show up. Call center is oblivious to customer help as they are not even associated with company service just saying I am sorry how can I help. Always an excuse for something. Paid for service program but in all 5 service or trouble shooting calls arrived after or not showed up. Get a non company service call service that has been of NO HELP. No follow up from a company member or manager. I am regretting having paid up front for a service company that puts customers last and bottom dollar first.

Used this company for many, many years for our service on cooling/heating needsâ ¦had service contract all those many years. Their customer service became so bad that I couldnâ  t take it anymoreâ ¦wrong types of appointments scheduled, service contract issues, repeated phone calls for service calls that werenâ  t needed, etc.

I have used McCarthy before for plumbing issues, and when my AC began to not perform I reached out to them based on that positive experience. The service technician Asghar did a really great job of inspecting the system and explaining the current condition. Really a great experience.

I had a very disappointing experience with McCarthy Services for an HVAC service. The technician arrived late in the day and seemed more interested in wrapping up quickly rather than diagnosing the issue properly. He briefly looked at the control panel and blower motor, then told me it would cost over $3,000 to fix just the blower motor(which I have in an extremely easy to access laundry room out in the open) claiming it was either the control panel or the blower motor but not knowing which and claimed he had no way to perform diagnostics since it is â impossibleâ to tell which would be the issue. This quote is over five times the market average for even including labor. When I questioned the price, he was smug and dismissive. He didnâ t offer any real solution or suggest a follow-up visit other than saying to check my warranty, making it clear he was just there for the service fee. He left without properly diagnosing the problem. The next day, I called another company. Their technician quickly identified the issue: a missing Y terminal wire that had never been installed. This simple fix cost $100. Itâ s evident that the technician from McCarthy services lacked the necessary skills and integrity, as he missed a glaringly obvious problem and tried to price gouge me. It clearly seemed like he was just trying to make some extra money from a service fee at the end of his shift and potentially get some more out of it. I was still charged $119 for a useless visit for a â serviceâ fee. I highly recommend avoiding McCarthy Services if you value professional and honest service. This experience was frustrating and a clear case of poor service and customer care. I would never recommend them to anyone.

The technician that came out was fantastic ran a little bit late but that seems to be the norm with this company if they even show up. When the technician came and went right to work got it complete finished cleaned up was very professional. The customer service had nothing to do with the technician that has everything to do with the company. The customer service is not even a 2.0. It took five different conversations to even have our email address corrected. Have asked for responses from specific people not a customer service Representative who can do nothing for me When it comes to questions They cannot answer them. We have been a loyal customer but are seriously considering going elsewhere.. when you cannot talk to the people that you need to talk to about specific stuff you need to happen in your house it makes no sense to talk to somebody from customer service instead of the people that are going to do the job or actually work in that area. This was not a one-time thing this has been going on for a while.
