Kingstowne Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

This was a "special deal" available only on Angie's List.
The price was better than competing cleaners in the area.
I chose Kingstowne Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning based on prior reviews.  
They did not disappoint.
 The vendor warned that some extremely difficult stains may be difficult to remove from a Persian carpet without leaving a shadow.  (I had recently spilled a dark colored beverage on the rug).
However, the rug was returned in flawless condition with much of the original color restored.  What I had thought was natural fading from age and sunlight was merely dirt and dust !
There were some minor communication issues at the outset due to a non-show employee, but the owner quickly made things right and arranged the pick-up and delivery.
The vendor exceeded my expectations, and I will DEFINITELY consider them in the future.

It all went great. We bought a deal on Angie's and got an email back the sdame day. Two days later, as I requested, they picked up our carpet and carried it off to "the spa".   The carpet has severe pet stain and Kingstowne called to asked for some extra days to keep the carpet so that they could reclean it toaddress the pet stain that wasn't coming out. Of course we gave them the extra time. The carpet was return as scheduled about a week or so later and it ,looks great; no odor and it's clean, clean, clean.  Without a doubt, Kingstown Carpet and Steve are on out permanent service provider list.  They are better than the best!!

They were fantastic! They picked the rug a couple of days after the purchase and I didn't have to pay further than the price of the deal. I thought they were a little bit pricey though.

Kings townie Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning was amazing in every way: They picked up my rug from my home on Thursday afternoon and delivered it to me beautifully cleaned Saturday morning. I had been told that the large red wine stain on the Oriental rug might not be easily or successfully removed, but they promised to do their best. The result is that the rug looks fantastic! In addition to being prompt and efficient, they were very friendly and easy to deal with. I would gladly and highly recommend them to others as well as use them again myself.

Steve, the owner, provided outstanding customer service.  He is efficient & knowledgeable.  On the same day I purchased a "Big Deal," he contacted me to schedule the work.  He was punctual & called in advance of his arrival.  He explained his cleaning process & the results to expect.  The rug was cleaned & returned within less than a week.  I was very pleased with the quality of his work.  Steve is not only professional but friendly & a pleasure to work with.  I plan to use Kingstowne Carpet again in the near future & highly recommend their services.

It went perfectly! My call of inquiry was answered promptly; the rug was picked up at the time agreed to; and it was returned -- well cleaned and for the price quoted -- exactly when promised.

Overall, I was dissappointed with this provider and this was my first time using a contractor through Angie's List.  The provider did a pretty good job cleaning the rugs.  The large rug was very dusty and thick; they removed nearly all of the dust.  They were very responsive.  However, I was a bit disappointed in the level of professionalism. 
They were a little late picking up the rugs and afterward, the security guard at my complex gave me a notification that they did not follow the traffic signs on the complex.  When I later told them about the note, they denied causing any traffic violations.  They offered to return the cleaned rugs at 8am on Saturday that same week.  I was impressed with the quick turnaround so I agreed to this time and rescheduled an existing appointment I had on that date. 
However, at around approximately 7:30am Saturday morning, I received a text stating they were still waiting for the large rug to dry.  About 10 minutes later I received a text stating that the rug still wasn't dry and could they bring it later.  I explained that I had rearranged my schedule to accommodate and was dissapointed they could not deliver the rug at the time promised.  I ended up rescheduling to have the rugs delivered the following week. 
They arrived on time to return the rugs and offered to take the rugs out of the plastic and lay them, but I elected to have them leave the rugs in their bags and just paid for the service.  However, at noted earlier, I did notice a little dust in the large rug after the cleaning.  I didn't bother contacting the provider about this because I felt they did a good job on it considering it's original condition.

The service went fine and they did a good job. I'd recommend them. The price wasn't higher than I expected but we'd always wanted it to be lower. We'll use it again if we needed to.

They were professional and they did good work.  We had a flood and it tracked in mud so they got up all the mud for us on the rugs.  They returned the rugs back to me in a timely manner and they worked with me on my schedule.  I did not have any headaches with scheduling.

Showed up punctually, as agreed upon. Did an excellent job on the upholstery cleaning which we scheduled, and was flexible in also cleaning a small portion of carpet (which we had not previously schedule). Results of the sofa/chair cleaning were really great; we would definitely use this company/service again and highly recommend to other.

I bought the coupon for this, and unfortunately it didn't go very well. They cleaned my one-year-old hand died Turkish rug, and it is now faded on one side and not on the other. They also made colors run a bit into the borders. I definitely wouldn't do it again. And if I did, I'd take pictures of the rug in advance because they're denying responsibility.

This was a perfect customer service experience and a quality job. I requested service through the company's online form instead of calling because it was in the evening.. Steve Miller replied by email the same night. We agreed on a price and date. He arrived on time, but had sent a text on his way to alert me to heavy traffic -- just in case he was delayed. Steve is personable, knowledgeable, and is clearly very intelligent. He cleaned the sofa and chair quietly and efficiently. They look and smell great. He took the area rugs off to the plant for cleaning. He stayed in touch regarding status by my preferred method (texting) and delivered three beautifully cleaned rugs, wrapped and rolled.  Outstanding service from beginning to end. Quality work. Fair price. You can't go wrong.

I have used Steve twice now and would not hesitate to use him again. he is punctual, professional, and honest. He could of charged me to clean a rug that would likely would not have turned out very clean, but he warned me ahead of time and suggested I not do it.
It is hard to find someone who is trustworthy, reliable, and does a good job.

They had a good reputation on Angie's List. They were able to come out very quickly and they took the carpet. They were done with the carpet sooner than expected and were able to deliver it back to us. They were very professional and there bill price was the same as what they quoted.

Steve was fantastic!!  I called him on Monday and he scheduled me for the next day.  He texted me to let me know he would be arriving right on time at 10 AM and sure enough he was at my door with business card in hand at our scheduled time.  Steve came and assessed the master bedroom and told me he wasn't sure the pet stains I had him working on would come out.  I appreciated his honest assessment but told him to give it a shot anyway.  Steve worked for well over an hour and not only cleaned my master bedroom but also cleaned the open areas in two other bedrooms, the hallway, and the stairs and landings!!! He turned fans on to help speed drying time and I couldn't be happier with the quality of his work.  I will definitely use Kingstowne Carpet again in the future.

They did an excellent job. The rugs turned out great. I have used another provider in the past and they did a better job. I was pleased with every aspect of the service.

Steve quoted me a price via email after I'd described my home, and we scheduled the appointment in the same exchange.  He called the morning of the appointment to advise he was running on time.  When he arrived, he showed me exactly what he planned to do and set right to work.  Throughout, he was friendly, professional, thorough and answered all my questions.  He put down all the carpet protectors under the heavy furniture and advised how long to leave them in place as well as how long to keep the lighter wooden pieces off the carpet.  All the basic information to avoid a disaster later.  Bottom line, Steve does terrific work, and I felt entirely comfortable with him in my home.  I'd absolutely recommend his company.

It all went fine. I was impressed by his keeping me informed of his pickup delivery times. In this day and age of waiting around for service professionals to show up, Steve was as good as his word.  When he was running late, he texted me to say he was behind schedule. Little things like that go a long way in customer relations.
