Kittelberger Plumbing-WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Called them on a Tuesday and they said they could come Friday Morning to fix leak in ice maker line. At the LAST MINUTE they called to say they had an emergency for someone else and could not come until the next Tuesday? Asked why so long - said they had others already scheduled? Looked online and found ABLE Plumbing-called and they offered to come that afternoon (unfortunately we had something planned) so said they could come SATURDAY morning (NO UP CHARGE)! Called Kittelberger to cancel and the lady was very "curt!" Nelson came and did the repair, and we are very pleased. So, if you need a plumber call ABLE not Kittelberger!

Very well. Technicians understood the job and accomplished it in 3 hours. This included crawl space work and drilling through an exterior wall. Their estimate was significantly lower than two other plumbing firms who quoted on the job.

Our old power vent gas water heater was not heating well or quickly. I called and asked someone to look at and repair it. We scheduled to estimate quickly. The worker arrived as expected, and was polite and professional. Because of the age of the old water heater he recommended replacing it. He worked with the office to order the replacement, and we scheduled a day later that week for them to replace it. The day of the replacement, the same serviceman returned, and removed the old water heater, and replaced it with a new 50-gallon heater in the same location in our utility room, as well as an expansion tank, and replaced the shut off valve on the incoming water line. He did the work quickly, and left the work area clean. Kittelberger came recommended by the company who services our gas furnace (but who doesn't do plumbing). I was happy with their work, and plan to use them in the future for plumbing work.

Tuesday morning I received a call at 9:05am telling me the plumber was on his way but again reminded them I had a hard stop at 11am. At 10:15 called their office to find out where the plumber was since again I had a 11am hard stop, I was told the plumber was waiting on the Salesman before entering my home. The Salesman and Plumber arrived at 10:25am with no apology of being late. They did not have a Water Heater tank on the truck and would need to pick one up. I again reminded them of my 11am hard stop. Didn't seem to phase them. I immediately asked them to leave. I then called a competitor and scheduled an appointment for the next day.

Fine. On time arrival. needed to come back another day for toilet flange b/c of parts (PVC vs black pipe).

Office called to let me know plumber (James) was on the way.  James arrived and went straight to work.  All that was required to repair the leaking shut-off valve was to tighten it.  The hot water heater needed a $3 cap which James had in his truck.  Altogether about 30 minutes and James was done and gone.  He could have easily talked me into more complex and costly repairs but seemed to have my best interests in mind instead.  I've used other plumbing services and was surprised not to be charged at least a $150+ service call charge just to show up.  I'll definitely use J KITTELBERGER & SONS for all my plumbing needs.

The technician came to the house, surveyed the problem, then left to get the required supplies. He did not have them on the truck because the stack had several odd shaped sections. The job was completed within an hour of his return. No more leak.

A former neighbor referred Kittleberger to us years ago when we wanted to install our gas dryer. The company has performed well for us over 25 years.

I have been using Kittelberger & Sons for a few years now.  Great family business with attention to detail.  They have done everything in our home from replacing Hot Water Heaters, Sump Pumps, Emergency Clean Ups, & Pipe Repair.  The staff is always courteous and ready to respond within hours of calling.  Overall, a solid company.

My husband was there for the service call, but he said that all went well. The contractor did a small service on the toile and then told my husband what to buy to finish the job. Had the contractor done the extra work it would have costs alot and it only my husband 30 minutes to finish the job. I appreciate that he told my husband what to purchase.

Great. very punctual, professional and clean. Have used Kittelberger a few times and they are always punctual, professional and have never had to call them back on a previous repair.

We used them many years ago, around 2000, and they were excellent.  If they have maintained their standards they should be great.

Technician arrived promptly with the garbage disposal we specified on the phone.  Replaced the disposal and trap on the drain.  He was efficient and pleasant. 

We've used Kittelberger for several years and they have always been very responsive and fair. The only reason we didn't give them an A is that sometimes we've had to get return visits to get the problem completely resolved. However, they always get the issue resolved and are very reliable.

We called late yesterday evening and left a message. Received a call back this morning to schedule the work for this afternoon. At about 10, they called and asked if we would like to move up our appointment as they had a truck in the area with an open slot. We were more than glad to get them in sooner and the timing worked out perfectly. James arrived about 10:30 and after a quick assessment, got right to work. He was quick and did a quality job. We paid less than I expected as well, partially because the job was done so quicly. We were very pleased with both the work and the gentleman doing the work. We will definitely call them back!

We have used them several times. I think that it was a fair price. They are very busy and we had to wait awhile.

We had used Kittleberger Plumbing before and had been very satisfied.
So we phoned on Monday morning (June 11) after leaking from an existing water heater was detected. We learned that the schedule was booked for several days. We didn't elaborate on the problem we were having. Instead, we foolishly tried one, then another, major retailer promising and quot;same dayand quot; installation. We wasted 2-3 hours with each -- being given ever-escalating prices and and quot;special orderand quot; requirements. We eventually were told that June 16 would be the first day a suitable tank (power vent, Energy Star) could be available. The first of these companies charged us for a service call that confirmed the tank failure. The technician left with the water still flowing through the broken tank and flooding into the basement. He came back very reluctantly in the afternoon to turn everything off.
That was the context. After the above mishaps (ours), we made a desperate call to Kittleberger Plumbing, gave a better explanation of the situation, and begged for emergency help in spite of their schedule. By then it was late afternoon on Tuesday. James was quickly able to identify the correct tank and scheduled to come first thing the next (Wednesday) morning. He called early in the A.M. to let us know he was a little delayed by weather/road conditions, but his arrival was well within the window promised. The circumstances were not ideal; our flooded basement had partly dried, but there was still damp muddiness. He set to work and finished up in a couple of hours. The failed tank had vanished, and a nice shiny new one stood in its place. Connections were all carefully plumbed, and a drip tray (draining directly to the sump pump) and expansion tank were added, where none had been before. The total price was $1200 less than we were being told by the and quot;same dayand quot; crowd.
This experience echoed our very first encounter -- we had thought our sump pump needed repair. Kittleberger's came promptly to check it out . It was ok, and they didn't charge us. They beat every other plumber we have used for honesty, friendliness, top quality work, great explanation, and fair price. They deserve the very highest rating.

Great as usual. Originally scheduled him to replace all bath fixtures. After looking at bath, gave another cheaper option, to replace cylinder and change water stain covers. Saved me about $300. Have used this company in past and will continue to do so. Highly recommend them for all emergencies. Very prompt and professional and usually arrive earlier than promised.

The plumber was able to diagnose the problem quickly, and able to replace the toilet with a new one

J Kittelberger and Sons diagnosed the smell problem quickly. They came up with a great solution that saved us space in our cramped laundry room and then completed a flawless installation. They quickly installed a new wash tub, rerouted plumbing and new water hookups for our washer with quick shutoff valves. The solution also fixed the odor problem that was coming from a venting problem under the sink that a new and quot;Pand quot; trap fixed. We are very happy with the service, recommend them to anyone in the area and will use them again anytime we have plumbing needs.

He did everything efficiently in about ten minutes. We were only charged for the service call.
