Hardcastle Contracting is always great. I've had him do major construction work, but the most recent was a series of small projects and fixits.

He was fantastic he did a beautiful job he helped me through the whole thing. It was done perfectly and he was such a perfectionist. He was very personable and became kind of a part of the family. When something didn’t work he took it back and made it better. He told me who to go to for certain things I needed. Everything he did was great. He built all my cabinets and my pantry.  The wood is amazing and the lighting and my backsplash I love as well.  It’s just beautiful.  He tries to do exactly what you want. He just amazing! Its like a one stop shop! He does it all!!!!

He is the finest contractor.  What he did for me is incredible.  I really believe it was a fair price.  He has integrity and absolutely follows the job through.  He cleans up afterwards and I told my neighbor across the street.  I had another thing happen when I had a pin breaking my copper pipe downstairs and it was well within this year.  I called Bill and he came out and took down the tiles from the ceilings and replaced the copper pipe.  He was absolutely terrific and then my neighbor across the street had the same problem and she just raved about Bill.  And this city did for my sun room was taking dry rot out of the beams and holding up the floor and then some verticals had to be replaced in my sun room and it was just incredible of what he did.  I didn’t see anything about him in your magazine or in the list when I go in there.  My son had utilized him and my son recommended him to me and he had done same kind of work for my son.  We all praise him for the quality of his work, his integrity and finishing the work on time.  The price was excellent.  He is very competent.  He can assess the situation and know what he had to do.  I have pictures of what he did. I have an extension to my house which is a dining room and at the end of the dining room I put a glass area so that I can look at the landscapes and the trees.  It has a ceiling with glass with cedar beams and at the base the dry rock had leaked into those supporting beams which go under the floor and the end of those beams was rotted so he had to take all that out and put the finishing boards.  He had to take off the decking walkway as the water was getting between the walkway and sunroom wood.  That decking had to come off.  He had to make a walkway and he had to put a wall to hold the hill up so that it wouldn’t come down on the walkway.  He replaced glass, vertical support and the molding.  He fixed the gutter situation on the sunroom so it wouldn’t drop down and made a down spout so that the water would go out.  He replaced the six inches of flooring in sun room too.  The insurance company covered $2000 of it and he was finally able to negotiate with the insurance company because they at first were not going to give me anything.  He said you call them and let me talk to them.  They finally gave me $2000.  He did fantastic for Kevin my son.  I can’t say enough about him.  His price is fair.  Everybody was telling me I got a good price.  The quality was excellent, top notch; the best.  The quality of the work, materials is all top notch and he doesn’t pull any punches on it.  He comes out on time and is incredible.  I wouldn’t use anybody else.  If anything that comes up I call Bill.   Particularly on the pipes down there I said I just came from my daughter’s house and I was away for two weeks and then I noticed a stain on my house and when I sit downstairs.  I said it hasn’t been there before and he said he will come over and look this afternoon on his way home and he will stop by.  He assessed the situation the very next day and he bought what he needed and it was the next afternoon.  He came to my house after working in another house and he did that in between because he has other jobs to do.  I know I can count on him.  It is his own business and he does his own work.

William is my new hero!! We were on a VERY tight schedule as Mom was moving in 10 days after our move into the new house. He came when he said, finished when he said, at the cost he estimated and went above and beyond my expectations for the job. He was extremely knowledgeable, made sensible suggestions, and completed all aspects himself, except for extensive drywalling, in the interest of time. He even put in a small wet bar for my Mom, and installed a vent as she is a smoker and we are not. So far so good -- no smoke smell in our part of the house. But better than that, he wired Mom's place in the event that we would need to put in a seperate heating system in the future.
He completed the media room in the same time frame, even though we said it could wait! He incorporated smart storage and ev
en put in an extra door for a future bathroom should be want to do that.
We highly recommend him!

He is very fair, honest, tidy and neat, delightful to have around, he responds to any extra work you may have. He explains everything thoroughly prior to work being done and it’s wonderful to be able to trust him. He takes the initiative himself to call and check up on me and the house. If anything happens, I’d call Bill!

Excellent.  Bill was highly recommended to us by two neighbors who have used him on several projects.  He was able to fit our small job in quickly with short notice.  They were professional, fast, and NEAT.  We are very satisfied.

He can do almost everything.  He's very good and a great person.  If he can't do it, he has a lot of references on people who can.  He's very honest. 

I have previously used Hardcastle Contracting before to renovate my kitchen. Most recently, Bill did a beautiful job on the dry rot in my sunroom. He had to brace the roof while he was taking the supports out, replace 3 good size pieces of window, and take out the rotted decking and replace the decking panels. He also had to replace 6 inches of hardwood flooring, the molding, and replaced French drains. He is very thorough in his work and I can't say enough about Bill Hardcastle. His pricing is very good. His son Thomas works with him and does the electrical work. They replaced landscaping lights where the deck came off. Everyone that Bill has referred to me has been outstanding. He is licensed and insured and can pretty well do anything you ask him to do, he is the best.
