Gold's Gym

The facility and equipment are kept in good condition and the reps are extremely pleasant and "bottom line". It may not have the frills of the high end gyms, but its a very good value for the price.

I like them. My schedule doesn't support me using them anymore. It had nothing to do with their service. They were a good, clean facility. They had a good variety of classes. The time that I went in the morning, it was very short. There was never a wait for equipment, so I was very pleased with it. It had all the stuff I needed. They did a pretty good job. They kept upgrading. With regard to communication, they have a website and email. I never had problems with their customer service. I would use them again in the future if it fits my schedule; it just doesn't.

Gold's Gym Lorton is one of the cleanest gyms I've been to. When signing up for a membership, the staff was nice and courteous and showed me all the amenities of the gym. Every membership option was reviewed, including promotional memberships. The best time to sign-up is during one of their special promotions. The only aspects of the gym that could be improved is the time it takes them to repair broken equipment and the fact that new members may pay less than you monthly even though you have been a loyal customer for years. I found out from another gym patron that new members were paying significantly less than me and no restructuring of my contract was offered until I approached two different sales associates. After being persistent about restructuring my contract, I was finally provided a better price per month for both me and my wife, but it was a little frustrating that I've been a loyal customer for years and I was paying almost twice as much as new members.
