Global Express, Inc. owns a franchise of Sears Home Services. The owners of Global Express, Inc. and I are not on the same page
when it comes to business ethics. I believe that I should not have had to threaten their company with legal action to get payment for damages caused to my home from the visit of their employee. I think it is important for consumers to be aware that companies that buy the Sears Home Services name are simply buying a name. They may or may not have concern for the long-term reputation of the name. I think general unprofessional and shoddy work is the risk a consumer takes when contracting with a business doing business as Sears Home Services.
