Congressional Lawn Service LLC

My neighbor and I used Michael Wassif to aerate our lawns.   He claimed that we needed to cut our grass first and that he would charge $35 for it.  My husband didn't think the grass really needed cutting and told him that he didn't want to pay that much.  Michael Wassif said that he would do it for $25, which my husband agreed to.  His lawn mower had problems, and my husband actually helped him to fix the mower.  He spent about 10 minutes on our yard.  The aeration job was poor--not many visible plugs, and those that you could see were very small.  His equipment was substandard.  My neighbor wasn't home for the service, and he did only her front yard, claiming that he was unable to get into the back yard.  She has repeatedly called him to ask him to come over and finish the job, since she prepaid him, and he has refused to return her calls.  

They came and started doing the work. It went well at first. They got most of the fence done, and some of the furniture.  However, it was taking much longer than scheduled.  We tried to be flexible with them, but it turns out that they kept having failures of their power washing equipment. They kept saying they had to come back with other equipment, etc. Things went south quickly.  They didn't show up when scheduled. They blamed us for having low water pressure that prevented the power washing.  NO one has every had that problem before, including when we have rented equipment and done it ourselves. They  never completed the work, and abandoned the job. The worst part is that they were unable to be professional, to resolve the problem. They just abandoned the job we had paid for - unfinished. They had no desire to make it right. They just blamed us and never came back.
