I can't say enough good things about our experience with Commonwealth! When you call them, a person who actually understands the HVAC business answers the phone. And they actually care about your situation and in our experience will do everything they can to help you resolve it as quickly as possible. Ms. Casey was super communicative throughout the whole process and worked hard behind the scenes to get the warranty situation resolved, get the right parts ordered, and get the work scheduled as fast as possible. Our technician Albert was super professional, diagnosed the problem quickly, and was able to fix the problem within an hour of the right part arriving. Ms. Casey even followed up via a text message the week after just to ensure that everything was working and that we were doing well. If you're looking for a company that is still run like a local business that cares about their friends and neighbors, Commonwealth is who you want to call.

Choosing Commonwealth Cooling and Heating was a great decision, the installation went flawless and Hoy (sp), Jonathan and Brian worked as if it was their own house. The equipment that Brian chose to fix our heating and cooling problems far exceeded my expectations. It took less than 1 day to realize that the equipment purchased was the right decision. We awoke the morning following the installation to a very comfortable home. I guess that one can say that we are now in a state of Comfort. THANK YOU Commonwealth Cooling and Heating!!!!

Long standing problem I tried (and failed) to trouble-shoot. The repair was completed in under an hour. The system operates like new again. The cost of the repair was less than I expected. The technician arrived on time. Neat. Clean. Thoroughly professional and explained the solution to the problem in detail once the job was finished. I don’t recall being this satisfied with HVAC assistance in the past. If future needs arise, I will definitely call this company first.

Excellant, I would highly recommend Commonwealth Cooling and Heating! They have been servicing my system for several years at my home and my business. The Techs are always very courteous and knowledgable. They explain things clearly and so they can be easily understood! Also had my air ducts cleaned, It made a world of difference!

Service was excellent, he found the problem, had it fixed in no time, installed a replacement and had us back up and running. There was a service fee for a Saturday but they were timely on an off hour day, which is rarely the case.

We used Commonwealth twice for furnace installation and could not be happier. Before the house furnace was replaced we did have the old one repaired since the technician said it could be fixed and still had some life left. I really appreciated the fact that he was not just trying to upsell a new furnace. After a few more years it was finally time to replace it. They had to put in new duct work along with the new furnace. We were very impressed by the professionalism of the technician. He listened to our issues about heating/cooling the whole house in winter vs summer so installed baffles that allow us to control greater flow upstairs vs downstairs depending upon the time of year. It has worked wonderfully and we are very happy with the work.

When we got the humidifier, they didn't tell us that we needed to replace a part of it on a regular basis. I didn't feel like we got the a lot of the money but they were helpful. The people who would come out, I think it was usually the same man, was really nice. I know that there was one time where they had to do a repair and it seemed pretty pricey. We thought that having the service contract would enable to us to get a better deal, we had a small discount, but we didn't really feel like having the service contract did very much for us, so that's why we stopped. And when we recently had to have a new HVAC system installed, we did call them on a Saturday and they said they would get back to us and I don't think they ever called us back. We ended up having to go with someone who picked up right away.

It was not really in the system, it was in the exhaust. There seemed like a little gassy smell in the exhaust flowing to the outside. So they came by and just checked on it for me. There is some rust in the system that is allowing it to move out into the exhaust. It is very, very minor but basically we've got to replace the whole system. We're not ready to do that yet. It's not a dangerous issue. They were very good as far as explaining that. It's not a danger, it's not going to explode. It's just an annoying thing. At some point we're going to have to replace the HVAC system. We've used them before. This was the first visit here to this house. We signed up a contract for this new house. We have a regular contract with them. They come out twice a year. I'm due to call them now for a seasonal check.

They actually didn't come out. It was actually the very first time we called them. We called them and got the answering service. Someone from their company called us back and actually said it was probably a very simple problem and that the igniter needed to be refreshed and sanded off, it picked up buildup on it and wasn't sparking properly. He talked my husband through on the phone on how to actually go in and pull it out, get a piece of sandpaper, rub it off and reinstall it and it kicked right on immediately. It was over the phone. There was no charge. It was the absolute first time we ever called them, so they didn't have any sort of relationship with us at all. It was extremely stellar. We've used them ever since.
