AY was at my house in about an hour. Turns out I had loose connections. Also checked the unit inside and out. Been doing business with them 10-12 years. They are great.1

I have used AYComfort for years and they continue to do a great job - gas furnace; replaced a water heater; air conditioning repairs.  I can't say enough good things about them and how they continue to take care of me and my family.  They are very responsive, go the extra mile, and are reasonable.

He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and then proceeded to remove and repair the part in question quickly and professionally. He advised us that we may need to replace the part in the future but only charged us for the repair. He was the only service provider in the area I could find willing to go out during that weather. A true A+ standard of service and professionalism.

I can't believe that there aren't more glowing reviews on here for AY Comfort. Perhaps his other happy customers are trying to keep him a secret so that he is always available for them. Askin is one of the most responsive, reliable, and honest contractors I've worked with. We first met him six years ago when we moved into our house and had to install a new HVAC system. A neighbor recommended him, and we received a good estimate from him but since we had just paid a large down payment on the house, we decided to go with the slightly cheaper priced provider. HUGE mistake. They lied about their expertise, installed everything incorrectly and their follow up visits sometimes made things worse. After having the AC fail several times in one summer and dealing with countless frustration, we finally gave up and called Askin back to fix everything that the other contractor did wrong in the first place. We didn't have any issues with the AC after that (for 5 years) until a blower motor gave out last summer. I called Askin again and he came out very quickly and fixed the problem. He also gave me some free advice on a plumbing problem I had. Today, I called him for issues with the HVAC system (as described above) and again, he gave me additional free advice on a problem with the fireplace. He always seems genuinely concerned with the issues I am having with my home (even if it's not related to HVAC!) and takes the time to explain things. He is extremely knowledgeable, fairly priced and will not try to sell you any extras or gimmicks- in fact, he is not happy with other providers who do so.

This is the second time we have used AY Comfort and both experiences were great. AY Comfort was recommended by three of our neighbors. Ashkin was prompt, courteous and honest. This last time we were having problems with no warm air coming from heat registers no matter how high we turned up the thermostat. Ashkin's first visit was no charge. He looked everything over and explained that we needed a new thermostat BUT he fixed the system so that we could maintain a constant temperature until he could return in a few days -- again, no charge for this visit. He returned on 1/7 and replaced our thermostat and spent time explaining how to operate the new thermostat and in addition told my husband that he could use a different (and better) air filter for the heating system than we had been using. We plan on using AY Comfort to replace our current heat pump when it dies -- which could be any day. I highly recommend Ashkin and AY Comfort.

I have always had great service from them. He does my regular maintenance on my HVAC. He is super honest and fair.

AY Comfort was referred to me by our home warranty company. The root problem being our dishwasher continuing to pump water into the dish well. I could not turn off shut-off valve under the kitchen sink - even with pliers. As a result - we had to turn off the main water to avoid flooding the kitchen again. AY Comfort responded promptly and was able to replace the valve and prepare the dishwasher feeder line to be reconnected after repair. I was happy to be able to use the hot water in the sink again and wash the dishes that were piling up. I was only charged my deductible - but the total cost was $25 for parts and $160 for labor.
