"Just to clarify, the Mitsubishi Mr. [member name removed] was installed by another company ,not Airplus Mechanical Co. Mr. Kim from Airplus Mechanical Co. corrected the problem created by the other company"
"I am responding to the review [member name removed] put on Angie’s List in reference to the recent installation at his home. On July 16, 2014 I went to [member name removed] house and found that his house return duct was not big enough to circulate the air in his house. I offered to enlarge the return at NO COST TO HIM. His return air for the upper level is using 2- 3 ½”14” stud capacity. I could not confirm all the way down. Next to his kitchen is a 3- 3 ½”X14” stud cavity, basement 12x12’ grill with a 6” return. The maximum total air volume is 580, which is less than ½ of his required return air. This is the main reason why his house has excessive humidity. After all my research I offered him a solution that increases return air WIHOUT ANY COST to him. [member name removed] got very offended with my suggestion and stated “his house is perfectly fine with the return air. If the customer does not want to take my suggestion, what can I do? [member name removed] was concerned about a standby generator he had installed by another company. On Friday July 18th. He called me stating he wanted to increase his fan speed and he did not like the quite Variable Speed Air Handler. I sent a technician to his house at no charge, he found that everything was working properly under normal conditions, but that we still needed to enlarge the return air. Saturday July 19th. [member name removed] called me at least 10 times telling me that his air condition was not working. I talked to him and told him that my warranty service is during normal business hours between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, but if he wanted I could send the technician back out but there would be a service call fee. I also told him” please leave your thermostat the way we set it. He had been adjusting it up. I also offered [member name removed] that I would come back to his house with the Trane field representative to see if we installed it wrong or if the problem is the house return air. I have spoken to [member name removed] and am waiting for him to make a decision and let me know what he decides to do. Sung Soo Kim"
