We're *very* particular about our garden. Alex and his team did a great job of removing the trees with essentially no damage to the nearby shrubs and perennials. When we need tree work done in the future, Blue Ridge Tree Service will be our first call. Of note, they are very responsive via email.

Alex was extremely easy to work with. I plan to use him again. He has a great work ethic.

We needed a number of trees removed. The invoice and the initial consultation were great and professional, but it slowly declined from there. Multiple days of no immediate response, we didn't know when or if he would show up on any given day. We had to continually reach out to see if/when he would show up. There was only one worker which wasn't supposed to be the case. What should've been done in less than a week (as mentioned) took 3 weeks of "here and there" days. The work that was done wasn't completed, and we decided to go with another company after a month of back and forth because we didn't want to deal with the continual inconsistency and lack of communication.

Alex and his crew were timely, professional, and completed the challenging work in the extreme summer heat. The three large Russian Olive trees/bushes and accompanying vines were extremely challenging to remove.

Alex was right on time to look at the work and provide an estimate. His crew removed the tree (that was bent about 90 degrees and sitting on some other tree limbs) without issue and ahead of schedule! Of note - this business has great email responsiveness, which made things much easier. We'll call Blue Ridge Tree Service again when we need another tree taken out. Highly recommended.

Very well. Cleaned up debri when they finished and I was able to add additional trimming in the remaining time.

Alex and his crew were excellent. Alex answered all my questions leading up to the work quickly and politely. He arrived on the day promised and kept me informed as the work went along. The work was completed as promised and the job site was left clean and tidy. I used the 10% coupon for Angie's List members with no problem at all. I would not hesitate to recommend or hire again for tree removal/trimming work.

Called because of reviews on Angie's list.  The owner, Alex, was out of town but he returned my call the next day.  He scheduled a time to look at what I wanted done and was on time for the appointment.  He provided a written, itemized estimate for the work, via email the next day.  I liked that he took pictures and then seemed to plan carefully what the costs would be.  The work was done on two different days, and we had to reschedule both days because of rain.  He contacted me via email a day or two before to do the rescheduling.  He and his crew came on the days promised and did an excellent job.  In the midst of the work we noticed another tree that had been hit by lightning was a potential danger.  He immediately provided a price for this additional work and completed it that day.  Both he and all the members of his crew including the crane operator were very friendly and easy to deal with.  I was impressed with Alex's professionalism and interest in pleasing.  He completed all the work on the days he started it, and his crew cleaned up.

I found Blue Ridge Tree Services through Angieslist and contacted Alex the owner.  He responded very quickly and came the next day to quote the work.  He is extremely anxious to please and demonstrates excellent follow through.  We scheduled the work for a few days later and Alex and an assistant showed up on time a got straight to work.  They were extremely good at communicating what they were doing and completed the work in a very professional manner cleaning up the area when they were done.  
We agreed to grind the stump a few days later and again Alex showed up as scheduled and went to work grinding out the stump.  
They are a pleasure to work with and follow through on their commitments.  I would definitely use them again.
The price came in exactly as quoted.
