While I'm certain the mechanic replaced the bearings but he used an incorrect shim on the pinion shaft which caused incorrect play in the read end. This led to a complete failure of the ring and pinion almost immediately. I pulled the truck into the dealer and he eventually showed me exactly what the previous mechanic had done incorrectly.

My vehicle was taken in promptly at the scheduled time and the oil change itself performed in about 15 minutes without issue, at a cost of $99.96 for labor and parts. However, about 300 miles after the oil change, the "oil maintenance required" light on my vehicle came on, causing me to have to look in owner's manual to get the instructions on how to reset it myself - no big deal, but when I take the vehicle to the dealer for an oil change, this is done automatically. |Though not a part of the oil change procedure, my low tire pressure indicator came on a few weeks after the oil change due to below freezing weather. Again, checking the tire pressure would not have been a part of the oil change procedure performed by Car Doctor, but it one that is routinely performed by the dealer during the oil change, as is rotation of the tires. Since the dealer charged about a dollar less than Car Doctor, but reset the "maintenance required" light, checked my tire pressure, and rotated my tires for less than Car Doctor charged for the oil change, I will likely go back to the dealer for future routine maintenance, even though I usually have to wait an hour or so before the service is completed.

It's an excellent place. I spent $40 with them on my last visit. I have used them before and they're a top-quality place.

this visit was for an oil change on our truck. They were quick, thorough, and did not spill oil or mess up the engine or the car interior. Very courteous and knowledgeable. On previous visits we have had this company do inspections and repair work on our rather old truck. They focused on needed repairs and did not try to sell us repairs we did not need. Prices seemed fair. Work was quick. They answered our questions clearly and to the point. This is a good car repair shop that meets our needs

We have used Car Doctor many times and will continue to use them in the future. When you walk into their shop, you immediately get service. You make an appointment and get an estimate. They appreciate your business and take care of you. Each time we've brought our car in they have taken care of it on time. The bill has always matched the estimate.

Was having shifting problems and they looked at my SSR and said that I was low on Fluid and it was past time for a flush etc. Thye did the work as promised in an excellent manner and it solved my problems.

A real estate agent recommended Car Doctor when we moved here. I will absolutely use them again.
