Mr Broadus came to the house and inspected everything that needed to be done. He then sent a proposed contract detailing what needed to be done and the cost; we signed the contract. Steven Broadus was not able to begin work until later in the year due to the weather, (warm sunny weather was needed). He installed the owner-provided keyless lock and closed the gap on the right side of the front door frame. But then he told us that he needed to get a new frame and that he knew a guy who could help him. We called a couple of time and was told that he had two door frames and that he thought one would fit our purpose. On 29 Aug, we texted Mr. Broadus asking when he would be able to complete the work; we received no response. On 13 Sept, we sent another test explaining that we were concerned since we had not heard from him since we spoke approximately two (2) months prior. We told him to let us know if he was unable to complete the work. He responded that he was very busy flipping houses and not to wait on him. On 14 Sept, we texted him with a request for a partial refund since he had only completed 40% of the work, but we had paid him approximately 78% of the total bill. We have not heard from him since that text. I would not recommend Mr. Broadus; he is not reliable nor responsive.
