Several years ago we had a problem with a leak in our motor home and were going to leave town the next day for a trip. Bryan came on the weekend to fix the leak for us so we could leave on schedule. They go above and beyond to be helpful.
Within a year, we started to see water stains on the ceiling tiles in the room below the shower. After some time of trying to fix it personally, brought in another contractor. He was able to tell immediately that the shower had been installed and quot;fraudulently.and quot; Turns out, the entire sub floor was rotten, to the point you could scoop out wood with your bare hand. Clearly, it has been leaking for years.
When confronted, Burgess said he and quot;ran waterand quot; and didn't see a leak and the he and quot;did what he was told to do.and quot; So we are stuck with a $3,500 repair bill because all he did was run some water and look for obvious signs rather than really doing what we asked which was find out if there was a leak. We relied on his assessment in the purchase of a home, and now he won't back up his assessment.
"October 7, 2013 This letter is in response to the above the complaint on October 4, 2013. Work completed was on June 24, 2011. Above date is incorrect; date was not June 24, 2013. We received a call regarding this issue on September 16, 2013. My response to complaint: I received a call to go and check several plumbing issues at property for a local realtor. Realtor called me and asked me to go the property on June 23, 2011. The homeowner at that time or the person buying the home did not call me to go to property. Issues were to inspect the master bathroom shower stall and sub floor to determine if leak is active or give advice for any further action. I went to property on June 23, 2011. I ran water in the shower stall and left it running; as I went and repaired the kitchen sink faucet and tightened the faucet handles on the master bathroom jet tub and ensure all faucets and jets were in working order. Then I went back and turned the water off in the shower and looked for a leak. I did not find a leak. I did see where there was old water stains, but there was nothing wet on the day I was there. I sent a bill to the realtor and explained I did not find any leaks in the shower or subfloor, I am a plumber, I do not install tile or repair tile. I also did not do the rough in plumbing or finish plumbing in this house. I did not install the shower."
