I recently had a small fence installed by Mountain Fence which went fine. The problem I have is what happened afterwards. I was requested to pay for the fence by check. Unfortunately, I forgot to transfer funds to the checking account associated with the check I wrote so it didn't clear (which is obviously 100% my fault). The owner then wanted to be paid in cash which is understandable. A couple days after I paid him in cash I noticed that the check I wrote him had cleared and the funds had been removed from my account. The owner claims that he did not attempt to cash the check and blames his bank for automatically attempting to cash the check again (this time it did clear because I had the funds). I don't believe him. I've opened up an investigation with my bank and will update this review when a resolution is found but at the current time, I've paid TWICE for the fence and I'm not at all happy with the experience I've had with this company.

Ron and his team installed a sturdy, attractive fence with great attention to detail. Ron was always available during and after the design process to answer questions and to discuss options. No hard sell, just top-notch work. Recommended.

Due to the bad weather the process started later than was expected. However, they were able to complete the project within the required time. The team was very professional on site - no fooling around, just work. I am very pleased with my new fence. I would recommend them for fencing.

It got started later than supposed to due to trouble with getting materials. Once they started, it went quickly and I am very pleased with my fence!

Ron had supplies delivered or picked them up the day of installation. Ron and his crew arrived two days later to install, worked diligently and very efficiently and the entire project was completed in one day. The new fencing looks great and is well constructed. Very pleased with the results!! Will be using him again.

Very happy with the results. We first contacted Ron a little over a month ago, and he was always quick in responding to inquiries. When we were ready to have the fence built, he took care of calling miss utility before beginning construction. His crew arrived at the agreed upon time, and worked very effeciently, completing the fence in one day. It loooks fantastic, and is very well built. It's nice to be able to let the kids and dog have the run of the backyard. I'd definitely hire Ron again - we're planning to move next year, and if we need a fence we know who to call.

Ron, the owner, contacted me within 2 hours of emailing him. He came out to give and estimate the next day. As soon as my lot was ready, Mountain Fence came out and installed the fence in 2 days. The fence is gorgeous and well built. The hardware on the gates is high-end and functions beautifully. They took time and attention to make sure my small dog would not be able to get under the fence anywhere as the lot had some obstacles to put the fence over and around. Ron was professional and delivered on everything he said he would. I could not be happier with the service I received and the quality of the fence. I will recommend Mountain Fence to my family and friends without hesitation.

The owner met me at the predetermined time as discussed and was professional. We walked the property and he described what work he felt needed to be done. When he was leaving he said that he would call me back with an estimate, I asked him if it would be easier over email and he said no. Three weeks later I still have not received a call from him with the estimate.

Ron was super easy to work with from the beginning and is very knowledgeable about what he does. He and his crew were very hard working and respectful of the property and did a fantastic job, the fence is beautifully done. Supplies were delivered and they were out the next day to install, and the entire fence was done in one day. I would happily recommend Ron and Mountain Fence to anybody looking to get fencing done on their property, it was worth every penny.

Update:  I called Ron and asked if he could install another gate. This was after he had installed my fence. He gave me a fair price and promptly came out and installed the gate.

I wish I could give Ron a higher rating.

Excellent service. Ron and his team finished this job in one day. The fence is superior in quality to the other fencing in our neighborhood by another company. I'm thrilled with the finished product and will recommend Ron to others.

The crew did an excellent job and the foreman gave me a tip on where the gates should be installed for easier access vs. where I thought they should go.  I am glad I listened to him.  The fence was done in a day and they did a great job cleaning up. Ron was out the next day and walked we walked the fence line to ensure that everything was completed to my satisfaction.  I would definitely use him again if I wanted to fence in the rest of my property.

The Mountain Fence crew was here promptly on the day work was to begin. They fenced in the entire area, installed two gates, and left no mess. They had me inspect the work before they left. The fence was beautifully done. I highly recommend Mountain Fence.

Put of the three companies that we got, he was the only one who was responsive, willing to turn around a firm written estimate, and to do the job around our schedule.  He got the work done in a fairly short time.  He was able to add the extra feet to the fencing in a way that was still attractive and without adding a lot of additional costs.  The owner and crew were very professional and hardworking.  They brought everything they needed, did the work and left.  They installed the fence by hand in one day.  We have a very steep backyard and the fence looks great.  He already has a great review on Angie's List, but they were also recommended by two other sources as well.

Ron responded quickly to my email request for an estimate. He came to my house 1 day after we communicated through Angie's list and I had an estimate the following day. He also gave me a previous customer's address to see some of his recent work that was similar to what we discussed. We have not made a final decision to proceed, but based on our interactions thus far, I would use this company if we decide to move forward with fencing our yard.

We were very pleased with the installation of our fence by Mountain Fence. Ron Hansen was easy to work with and scheduled our job within the next week. His team of five men were hard working, fast and efficient. They worked non- stop in the frigid weather, completing over 600 ft of fence in one day. Our fence looks fantastic! They used high quality materials and are very reasonably priced...best estimate out of three! My husband and I would highly recommend Mountain Fence / Ron Hansen to anyone.

Ron was always quick to respond to my voicemails and was easy to work with. He came out and gave me a free estimate which was $1000 cheaper than the other fencing comany I had give me an estimate. He told me it would take 2 days to complete and he could get it done within a week's time. I came home from work the first day and to my suprise they were finishing up the entire job; they got it done in 1 day! Their handywork was of good quality and not sloppy or rushed. I don't think I could be happier with how it turned out. I would most definitely recommend Ron to anyone needing some fencing work done.
