They do excellent work at competitive prices. Have used them twice. On the latest visit, we found their prices to be competitive with others who quotes for our work. They kept us informed as to when they would come and the work they did was conducted professionally. I was really impressed at how they were able to ensure that limbs and trees came down where they wanted them to. Very satisfied.

There are about 4 men that come with the owner to do the work. They cut branches or cut down trees. They are really good. He has been coming here for ten years and brings as many people as needed to do the job. He is perfect and very professional. He comes when he says he will. Sometimes he can't come when I call him because he is busy, but he has never told me he will come, and then not shown up. He is not cheap. He does the jobs most other people wouldn't do.

My family and I have used Gene Thorpe's Tree Service for many, many years. They just left my house after doing lots of work for me. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are hugely skilled and do impressive work. I trust them completely, which can't be overstated when someone is and quot;manicuringand quot; your trees. My neighbor was also amazed at how they climbed my large maple by the house and fence, took off a big chunk of it, and topped the rest. and quot;A very professional operation.and quot; Todd Thorpe is Gene's son and an unbelievable tree climber. Flawless work. The trees look wonderful and everything is left cleaned-up and orderly.

They are good people and extremely nice! A real pleasure to work with. Their crew is also very pleasant and respectful.

I think you will find that they are also about the most reasonably priced tree service in the area, based on my cost comparisons a few years back.

They also do firewood, landscaping (my Mother had them regrade and reseed her front yard - which turned out beautiful), stump removal, and fencing.

Mr. Thorpe did exactly as requested. We have used Mr. Thorpe's services for tree trimming and removal for over 15 years. He is always responsive, reliable and reasonably priced. He does the job and leaves the yard neat and clean.
