First, according to Rockbridge, one of their drivers erroneously delivered a full tank (400 gallons of fuel) to our home without our knowledge or our request. We never received a ticket, or any other proof of delivery. Still, they insisted we were responsible for the charges, and they even summoned us to court for non payment. We refused to pay, and they begrudgingly dropped the summons. After the non delivery issue was settled, we agreed to start with a clean slate. We decided to keep Rockbridge as our supplier, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Fast forward to November 2017-January 2018, We called to pay our $348.00 propane bill by phone and order a delivery. We were informed payments were not taken by phone, so we would need to pay COD. No problem. The truck was on the way at 10:30 in the morning. Hours pass. No truck. Finally, we call at 4:30 p.m., and discover that the truck is not coming after all, and we have to pay at the office in Lexington, over 30 minutes away. By this point, over 3 employees have asked for our call back number regarding the delivery. No one bothered to call back, as usual. This business makes the rules as it goes, and the customers are left to suffer. Communication is like ping pong with this place. You will speak with everyone, and no one will know what’s going on. And still, we are terribly aware that we are being punished for a mistake that this business made, even as we agreed to continue the relationship in good faith. And worse, they treat it like a game when temperatures are dangerously cold. Phone calls go unreturned, deliveries are not made- I have not experienced any business so disorganized and childish in my time as a consumer. Worst of all, their practices are dangerous to the people they have a responsibility to serve. Needless to say, avoid this business at all costs. There are plenty of reputable fuel providers in the area.

Where do i start!
Dead birds in our system in the first week in the house b/c they didn't put a $3 screen in.
Their engineer designed our HVAC system, we are having all sorts of issues with the temp not being right with our 2nd floor unit. It is freezing in the front bedrooms, bonus is hot as all get out. When we called, they basically said we recommended something different but "your builder said do it this way". WHY would you let a general contractor tell you what the best solution is if you are the expert?!!! Their resolution to the fix is another $1700, which if they had done it right the first time would have made sense.
Additionally, we have now come to find out the HVAC system for the main floor and basement are not to code. If we have a gas leak in our appliances it will draw right into the house. They engineered this system! They said they would rig it to work, but it has to have a return in the unfinished space. Which we are now air conditioning.
Forget the asthetics that the units were placed on the side of the house instead of the back. Our kitchen hood vents to the front of home on a feature stone wall and required additional soffit build out. Why not run it up the roof? And they put our dryer vent over the garage bays instead of out the roof or down and out the basement.

I took my car in because it seemed like my car was terribly out of alignment and our regular service place doesn't do alignments. I was pleased and relieved to find out that it didn't need an alignment. Rather, it was a problem with the tire pressure! But I give this place high marks because I really appreciated the fact that they saved me the time and expense of having something done that was not needed. I had heard good things about the Rockville Farmers Coop and was pleased to learn that they live up to their reputation.

The fan on our heat pump stopped working on a Friday morning, and I called the Co-op because I knew they were the folks who installed the pump several years ago. I knew it wasn't under warranty, and so I expected a big bill, and I wasn't even sure it would be able to be repaired on that day. I thought we might spend all weekend without AC. As it turned out, the guys from the Co-op were at my house within the hour, diagnosed the problem, and returned to the Co-op to get a part. In the meantime, they rigged the heat pump so that the fan would at least work and pump air throughout the house, even if it wasn't cool air. By the end of the day, they had returned to my house and made the repair in no time at all. The bill wasn't as bad as I thought, either. Overall, a very good experience that I expected to be horrible.
