Only problem was he ordered a window for the wrong floor & quickly reordered another window. I paid extra for the window to be primed & painted white but the reordered one wasn't painted at all (inside or out).  Another contractor in the development noticed the windows weren't installed right & that Don had cut the facia to fit these replacement windows then installed wood strips to cover up his cuts. Nothing major but they don't match the builder grade per the master deed now. In addition they, installed a prefab bathroom vanity & faucet for me in the powder room. That turned out ok other than the gasket for the faucet was sticking out on only half the base. Don later informed me that his crew doesn't paint leaving the painting to me which I didn't have the time for to start with. That should have been said up front considering how much wood working I gave him & the wood replacement windows too.

Construction is never very easy, either on the home owners part or the builder and crew, but I must say that my experience with DJ Homes, LLC in 2006, had to be one of the most pleasant of my 60 years. For 3 months, DJ was on the job every day, on time with a full crew, and answered all of my questions ( with a smile ), oveseeing all aspects of the construction. I have been very happy with the work that was done, and more comfortable in my home. DJ even visits ever y8 to 9 months, to make sure all is well, and that I do not have issues that need to be addressed. What could be better than that!
I would, and have recommended DJ Homes LLC, and will continue to do so.

The workmanship was beyond excellent and top of the line. Price, conduct, and clean-up was wonderful as well. Took all trash away, and left no messes. They came when they said they would, and did the work in great fashion.

Master Bedroom, Master bath and Kitchen remodel gut and move plumbing,
put on addition to expand kitchen, enlarge master bathroom add enclosed
shower, install whirlpool tub.  Failed all final inspections, then put a
lien on my house for payment since I would not pay him for failed
inspections.  Kept asking for payment in cash, did not want checks. 
Roof leaked 5 different places, had to replace roof on addition,
membrane was missing and there was no flashing around the sewage vents, as a result
had to replace entire kitchen ceiling, and part of the roof.  Lights in kitchen still do not
work, overloaded the circuit, have to have lights and wiring redone. 
Left unconnected LIVE wires in insulation in 10 different places, hired
an electrician to rip out walls to find some. This was a serious Fire
hazard my family could have died while asleep.  I still pray we found
them all.  They covered up the heating/AC vent in the wall in the master bedroom, did not know to move it or reconnect it.
Had to redo tile in Master bathroom, hired a tile person to
rip it out and replace, it was so uneven, fixtures and door could not be
installed it was so bad.  Was suppose to install Hardwood floors -
never did.  Kitchen addition floor has sunk, there is an 6 inch drop,
will have to redo addition to sell house.  Had to hire a lawyer to
settle it.  Donald was abusive in his language to me in my home, when
asked to leave he walked in past me into the house then started cursing at me in front
of by children.  He terrified both me and them ages 4& 6.  I got scared as to what
he would do and ran out of the house with my children, went to a
friends house and called my lawyer.  This remodel job is still costing
me a fortune after 10 years.  He should have paid us.  We checked him out he was recommeded to us by Friends and associates, their jobs were much smaller than mine.
