We called Brian late on a Thursday. He was on the phone with us Friday morning early. He came to the farm, scoped the job, and went for parts. By 6:30 that night, a new water heater had been installed and new hot and cold water faucets had been installed in the barn aisle. The installations were better than the original set up as he suggested improvements to prevent winter freeze ups and increase energy efficiency. The cost of his labor was roughly 1/3 of the estimate that the local Lowes store had given to us after a week of nagging for plumbing services. Mr. Gilliam has been a plumber for over twenty years and he brought his deep experience to bear to our benefit.
This repair was critical to us as we could no longer connect hoses to the broken faucets and replenish our pasture water tanks. Hot water is essential for general cleaning, washing feed tubs, and must be available in case one of the brood mares has an emergency. Mr. Gilliam's prompt, efficient, and mechanically correct work resolved our problems. The man is kind and courteous, taking all necessary time to explain his work to us and answer questions. Most highly recommended.
