ABSOULTY GREAT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I contacted the University Painters office on Winmeade Drive, Leesburg to discuss the project.  I made an appointment for Matt to come to the house the next day and he arrive right on time.  We walked through the area and I explained our concerns and he explained what/how they would proceed. He then sat down and within a few minutes provided a price, with a discount.  We had previously received other quotes and his was in the middle but he built our confidence as we discussed the pros/cons and he was much better than the other firms.  We confirmed we wanted them to do the work and contacted him the next day. His crews were available as we had discussed so we released him to do the work.  We supplied the paint.  A four man crew arrived on time and proceeded to prep the work, cover everything and repair the drywall in the lower level office, family room, corridors, stairwell and laundry.  The crew was extremely professional, friendly and excellent painters.  They finish the work in two days.  They did such a good job and we felt so good about them we had them pint the master bedroom, sitting room and the second bed room.  The attacked those areas with the same high professional quality/standards. They completed those areas in two days.  The work was equally as good as the lower floor.  Their protection and cleanup was excellent at all days.  They were VERY meticulous with everything.

Crew was led by Fabio and Leo.  We would us this company again and would request these two workers.  Great guys, professional.

The coat that they put on did not seem nearly as well done. There were some drips on a couple of things and it did not seem quite as professional as their earlier work.

The painters arrived 45 minutes late. When they arrived, I gave them the paint IDs to purchase at Sherwin Williams. We waited approx. another hour for them to return from picking up the paint. When they started to paint, the color looked completely wrong. It was discovered they picked up wrong paint. They had to go back to Sherwin Williams and we waited an additional hour for them to return. The painters were extremely fast at what they did, but there were areas I asked to touch up (where we used sample paint to determine which we wanted to use) that were not sanded. So to this day, we have patch painting at the end of our hallways. After the job was complete, we were unable to get back in contact with the manager of the project, Ryan Taylor. I had my assistant ask for a receipt on numerous occasions and we never received anything. Additionally, we initially wanted a mock chair-rail effect on the walls and we were supposed to receive an estimate to get that done and that never happened. We basically had to take what was given. Though there were a lot of trials and tribulations, the painters were really quick, did the job they were directed to do by the project manager and cleaned up well. But, the events that happened afterwards is what made me give them a grade of C. The communication between the company after the job was complete, there was none.

They were late on their first day of work and so they gave us a discount on their work. Generally after that first day, they came on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional and they did a good job. We were very pleased with them.

It was a pleasure to work with them. We used them twice. On the first job they painted selected interior areas and a number of outside areas. The outside painting included porch, garage door, front door, shutters, and window trim. We also had some small sections of rotted wood on the outside, which the painters replaced quickly and effectively. The were delayed in starting the first job, but gave us a good discount due to the delay, and completed all the work in a reasonable amount of time. The second job was done to complete homeowner's association request, and was completed quickly. For this job they repainted the fading chimney trim, roof line trim, and front foundation, and also replaced more rotted wood in the back of the house. There was one section on the back deck trim where they had painted over rotted wood, but when we pointed this out they immediately came back and fixed it properly without any problems or questions. When they came back, they also power washed the the siding on the sunny side of the house at a minimal fee to remove sun aging aging of and a few hand prints left from the earlier work. We were very satisfied overall with both the work and with their willingness to fix minor issues. We will definitely use them again for any painting or minor exterior issues that come up in the future.

WE HIRED THEM TO PAINT OUR HOME AND OUR RENTAL PROPERTY. AFTER THE FIRST PAINTING JOB ON THE RENTAL THAT WAS TERRIBLE AND INCOMPLETE, WE DECIDED NOT TO HAVE THEM DO THE SECOND HOME. THE WORK ON THE RENTAL PROPERTY WAS SLOPPY. THEY DIDN'T SCRAPE PROPERLY AND THE PAINT IS BUBBLING. I RECEIVED A LETTER THAT IF I WAS TO BREACH THE CONTRACT, THEY WOULD KEEP MY DEPOSIT OF $2,569, AND THEY MAY SEEK THE OTHER $4,000. WE HAVE PAID MORE THAN THE COST OF THE RENTAL PROPERTY PAINTING WHICH WAS $1,996. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD SET UP A CONFERENCE CALL TO TALK WITH THE OWNER BUT THAT NEVER TRANSPIRED. I FEEL LIKE I AM GETTING THE RUN AROUND. I WANT THEM TO FIX THE ISSUES WITH THE FIRST HOUSE WHICH THEY HAVE NOT DONE, AND THEN I WANT TO BE DONE WITH THIS COMPANY.
