Radiance Salon & Medi-Spa

Erin Grant at Radiance Salon is very good. I'd recommend her to anybody. They're very good. They're great. I think $70 is a lot for haircut but I don't go that often. It's a little on the high side.

They have good customer service.

I had Lindsay for my cut and color. I didn't like my haircut. I asked for angled side bangs and I got straight bangs. The color was at first too dark, but it has lightened over time. I liked my bikini wax. I forget who the technician was. This was only my second time there. I am still trying out different stylists to find one that I like. Will not go to Lindsay again. Also, though the salon is beautiful, I'm not sure it is worth the price since the stylists don't seem any better trained than a less expensive salon.

I usually see Christie (and hopefully I spelled that right!) for my regular bikini wax and she does a great job. I have pretty sensitive skin so she's always conscious of that and makes sure the wax isn't too hot. I'm usually taken back within 5 min of my appt. time and scheduling is pretty quick. I have had to wait a few days after my preference to get an appt., but it's never been too bad. The salon is nice and the rooms are pretty comfy. I had Gail a couple times before and she is also good. I wish the regular waxes were a little cheaper, but it's actually pretty similar to what I've paid elsewhere.

I cannot comment on just that one service, as I go to Radiance for all my spa, hair and nail treatments. I have been a customer there for about 8 years now. My hairdresser is exceptional!! I will not even name her because I have so much difficulty getting an appointment when I want now. I literally have to book 6 months in advance. Like Heather with nails, this hairdresser is a perfectionist and she will not let me leave until we are both happy with the results. It is a bit pricey but, like most expenses we value, you get what you pay for. Radiance services across the board is very quality and customer focused and it definitely shows.
I have also had skin treatments and permanent makeup done at Radiance Medi Spa and I am asked frequently where I had it done, because the results are so natural that I have to tell people it is permanent makeup.
I have sent a handful of new clients to Radiance and they are hooked on the high quality and professional results, too.

good results but very pricey

I spent $600. They have a nurse practitioner that is the main person. She is very, very good. She did as good a job on my service as a doctor that cost me 3 times as much for the same services. She was amazing and I was very, very happy with it. I am planning to go back in a month. It is very good for the services that I use it for.

The first problem I had was with the eyebrow wax. Regan did what appeared to be a good job shaping and trimming my brows; it really hurt but I thought it was because I hadn't waxed in a while. When I got home my lids looked like they had been burned! I was even bleeding slightly. I immediately went back where a nurse on staff took a look and determined I wasn't burned but skin had been removed in the waxing process. She then told me it was me, something wrong with my skin or something I must have done. I've been getting waxed for years and nobody has ever wax my lid so low. The wound was near my lower brow line and I questioned why she waxed so low to which she replied that some people have hair that low. I can assure you, I don't and I have never seen anyone with hair growing near their lower lid! She offered no ointment or anything to help me heal.
The second problem was the cut and color. This was my second color. I complained to colorist that I felt the first color didn't last very long and appeared dull right from the start. This is a new product for the salon, she explained and that she was still fine tuning. Initially the color looked "right" but again, it faded in 3 weeks and I don't spend any time in sun or in a pool. I've been coloring my hair for 20 years and this product they use is inferior to any I have used in the past.
The cut I received was the month before. Jen is supposed to be their best but I would compare the cut to something you would receive from a novice. My haircut was very plain and had no texture or style to it at all and she only had to follow the cut I already had.
I had the opportunity to return to my previous hair stylist and colorist (out of state) and she was amazed at how light my hair appeared and what a sloppy hair cut it was. I explained the technique Jen used to texturize and she actually shuddered. "Don't go back there" she told me.

My visit was for a hair cut and color. They have a very friendly stylists. There are multiple levels of stylists depending on how much you want to spend. They have a really good system of keeping track of the color and cut and other services the customer had done previously.
