He has not completed the work that he was contracted for. I had a home inspection done and 3 building code issues that are not resolved. He was supposed to install a shower door in the bathroom and it was never installed. He installed new doors and windows but nothing is caulked. I paid for painting to be done, and it wasn?t done correctly. I had the painter come back and he wanted another $400 for the job, but I said I wasn?t paying for it, because he should?ve done it correctly the first time. I am trying to put my house up for sale, but I can?t sell it or rent it, until these issues are resolved. Every single wall is full of patch work from the painter. The quality of the work that is finished has been excellent but I need the rest of it completed. I received an email from the builder stating that caulking was not in the contract. I called a few contractors and inquired on installing windows and they all say that caulking is supposed to be included.
