I offer family oriented dog training in the client's home environment. Choose from one training visit, to a training package for puppy, basic, intermediate, advanced, or Canine Good Citizen training. Payment is due when services are rendered, so upfront payment is not necessary.

Services we offer
Dog obedience training. Every dog has his or her own personality and behaviors. Some are shy, some are full of themselves, some are energetic, some are couch potatoes, some are submissive and afraid, and some are overly dominant and a handful. During the training session, I consider such factors as your dog's temperament, breed, age, sex, general health, history, and drive. This information helps me to customize the session to address your particular dog’s behavior concerns.
Services we don't offer
I refer cases where clients have dogs that do not get along with other dogs. I also would refer out cases where a dog does not like children when there are no children living in the household. These clients are best referred to a behaviorist.

I adore Michelle, we have used her for both our dogs and she does an amazing job. Her classes are fantastic but we also did an online video call. The price was excellent and we were able to target some specific behaviors that my stubborn Great Pyrenees enjoys. She was so helpful and really knows her stuff! I highly recommend her video call assistance!

I couldn't be more pleased with Michelle and the help she provided me and my puppy. Michelle came highly recommended to me by two coworkers who used her in the past. Michelle helped me with six weeks of personal training for my 8 week old (8 weeks at the start) puppy to learn puppy basics. She traveled to my house, educated me and then showed me how to teach my pup. It was a rewarding experience. Once I master the puppy training I have learned, I look forward to working with Michelle again on intermediate dog training! Thanks, Michelle!!

Our dog has come a long way thanks to Michele's initial help. I'm quite certain I would not have kept him had I not hired her to help me when he was just 12 weeks old. She was able to help me better assess his temperament and personality (he was a handful and I was an experienced dog owner!). She then tailored the training and recommendations accordingly. He is now 10 months, and a very loved, well behaved member of the family! Thank you Michele. I highly recommend her!!

Michelle was excellent at communication, she was punctual, and obviously loves dogs. Her methods were easy to learn and she took the time to show us as well as have us try each technique. She was patient with us and our dog, and we learned so much! Highly recommend!

Michelle met with our 1 year old dog and me 3 times to work on manners. She was amazing - lots of good tips even about things that we weren't focusing on. She was also very good about sending follow up messages where the things we had talked about were written down so we can refer back. We saw positive changes after each visit, and things keep getting better. Now I have the tools I need to continue the work. Thanks Michelle!

Michelle Jackson provided a first class service for us from beginning to end.
She made and confirmed appointments well in advance, always arrived at our home on time, listened to our concerns and taught us how to work with our dog, first by demonstration and then by encouraging each of us to try the techniques. She has a friendly, but firm and confident manner and it was wonderful to see her training our dog and then being enabled by her to put it into action ourselves. We completed three sessions, for a total of a little over 3 .5 hours with Michelle. I believe we covered the six week beginner syllabus in that time. In addition to visiting our home, Michelle always followed with prompt emails, reviewing what we had covered and providing other useful information. We would like to take group classes with Michelle in the future and highly recommend her. We adopted our 1 year old dog from the FOHA Shelter and had no experience of dog owning in our adult lives. Working with Michelle has truly enabled us to be good owners.
