"To all those who will read this misleading 1-star review, Feel free to check our 4.8 Star Rating at Home Advisor/Angie's List (out of 69 reviews) and 5 Star Rating on Our Website (27 reviews). Speaks for itself. Unfortunately, Mr. P is upset about a filed insurance claim since November 2019, something we have been helping with for 6 months. When speaking to the insurance company they mentioned a small repair became a lot worse than necessary and that they invested in an Engineer and 2 other inspectors (great unnecessary expense on their end) for a small repair because the claimant was unhappy each time. Insurance company's do not provide the same value as contractors due to depreciation and due to limitations in their policies. Yet, we provided a very honest and reasonable quote for each item (all categorized), and each time the customer asked for remediation of the estimate. Days later Mr. P asked to INCLUDE the hallway (meaning that the original quote did not include the hallway ceiling, it only quoted for the Master Bedroom) and Mr. P even sent a photo of the marked hallway so we could add it to the estimate which explains why we quoted for additional drywall work. Mr. P made inconsistent allegations about the estimate including the hallway and the ridge vent as an initial estimate when Mr. P had a leak in his Master Bedroom ceiling and the 2 Master bedroom walls due to his neighbor's fascia board had blown away and possibly even missing metal flashing on the siding wall. The ridge vent was an additional problem we initially quoted but it wasn't until recently that he asked for the ridge vent to be separated from the initial quote so he could pay this separately since the insurance was not going to cover this. He also accepted the fact (on the phone) that the hallway was probably caused by the ridge vent so to go ahead and quote this separately. He asked for yet again another remediation of the estimate because he was not happy with what the insurance was covering for and he would try to fight with the insurance company after the work was completed to get more money. To be clear the original quote was not as Mr. P argues. When we initially quoted for the roof repair we also included removing up to 1 bundle of shingles right above where the Master bedroom was leaking (to warrant the leak would stop), install metal flashing, and reshingling that side. This price also included doing roof pipework, replacing missing and cracked shingles, removing shingles around a square vent, and reshingling. The insurance company did not include all of these items as they considered some of this was due to wear and tear. We all know insurance companies do not cover wear and tear. This explains the difference in cost between us and the insurance company. In the end, Mr. P wished for a very cheap estimate for a large project and tried to argue everything was initially included when he spoke to us over the phone to separate and add items on the final estimate. After working up estimates for 6 months Mr. P has the right to seek further estimates but we are 100% sure we provided 100% clear, honest, straightforward estimates. Over the years our customers have mentioned that other companies have charged them double or even three times the price for something as small as missing shingles, drywall work, and much more. Customers have also shared quotes from other companies to thank us for our honest prices and we have seen other companies quotes with rounded dollar amounts as well."
