"We appreciate you taking the time to write a review of our company, but the truth is you never contracted or paid LawnBoy Lawn Services for any services. This review should be removed because it is false. We were actually hired by [Member Name Removed] W. who you purchased your home from to install sod. The work order we were given by [Member Name Removed] was to only re-sod the necessary areas to comply with an HOA order so he could sell his home. The sod we purchase is always fresh peeled daily from a local sod farm, installed within hours of being removed at the sod farm, and is watered immediately after installation. At this point it becomes the property of the homeowner to maintain. Unfortunately your sod was not properly cared for before the home was turned over to you and as a result areas of it died. We do not offer a warranty for many reasons. The first reason is because a 30-day warranties are a trick other companies will use to get customers to feel safe (in our opinion). If you notice, all sod companies who offer a 30-day warranty also state guidelines after each warranty "As long as you follow our watering guide", "When post care instructions are followed". The list goes on forever, but it's simply a way to avoid the warranty because none of those guidelines can ever be verified. We would rather get to the point. Fresh sod from a sod farm will never have any issues taking as long as it is receiving the proper amount of water and wasn't laid on concrete. After speaking with you this last time I agreed to look into the possibility of fixing some of the areas to help you all out. Unfortunately we were not able to provide any assistance in this because we were never able to get a hold of [Member Name Removed] W. to get a final payment on this project. As a result we cannot complete and then redo a job a second time when we never got paid on complete the project the first time. I would recommend contacting the person you purchased the home from in order to help get this resolved."

His team worked around the fact that we have a dog - and 2 very young children. While service companies often take their time to make repairs to ensure a quality install of work, his team both made outstanding quality repairs to our drainage issues, and did so in a timely fashion to allow our dog and kids access to our back yard.
For our fence moving - David worked with local suppliers to find the right and exact matching pieces to extend and recapture property that was not originally fenced in. A simple Home Depot run and quick install would have showed that this home owner buying and installing the wrong size and incompatible fence.
Best of all - When they left - they did so as if the property magically improved - leaving No debris - No ugly signs of land disruption - and reseeded areas that were disrupted.
I cannot say enough about this local small business, the owner and his team. The outstanding work they completed is equal to the level of professionalism and tact.
Will I use again? Forever Lawnboy will be my lawn and land improvements team!

Lawn Boy has done a very good job for us. I was not able to do this work last year, cause of an operation. I have an ongoing contract with to this day.

The only silver lining was the work I had done to my retaining wall; he had a crew come in and level it out so it lines up nicely now.
I wasn't too happy with TruGreen so i called this company. probably not going to renew my contract, i'll find another service.

He did what he said what he going to do but he was more expensive then the competition. I used him last year and then I dropped them. They did what they said what they were going to do which is they mowed my land and trim the edges. I think he need to improve on the price because he is more expensive then the competition. He was $100 more then the competition. The quality was good.
