Kevin (Dr. Watts) is a great guy. He's very personable, honest, and patient, and he does good work, too. I had Kevin install a 50A circuit to charge my Tesla. In the "Tesla community" we are warned to watch for price gouging since some electricians may jack up the price thinking "this guy's got money to burn". I agree that this is likely to happen as I got another quote which was 2 times what Dr. Watts charged me. The wire run was fairly straightforward and only about 40ft from the breaker box, so parts were about $200, no way labor would have been near $800! So you can count on Kevin to give you a good deal and not try to rip you off. He'll also take his time with you if you have questions. He had no problem tackling a couple other quick questions I had and even got his tools back out to make sure something I had done on my own was correct -- and then he fixed it for me when he realized it was wrong. :) I'll definitely use Dr. Watts next time I need electrical work done, and you should too!

We've used Dr. Watts (Kevin) for a bunch of projects over the past year. He's great -- is always prompt, does excellent work, and shows you how things function before he leaves. We'll definitely use him again the next time we have an electrical need.

Over the past few years, Kevin has:
  ? Investigated and repaired a ground fault plug issue
  ? Replaced a recessed light
  ? Replaced a couple of outdoor lighting fixtures
  ? Replaced an outdoor lamp post light
  ? Replaced and/or fixed a dusk-to-dawn adapter
All were done to my satisfaction, with promptness and courtesy.

We discovered an issue with a switch to exterior spotlights and I looked up electricians in Leesburg area.  I found Kevin - Dr. Watts - with good online reviews and so I looked him up in Angie's List to find he was also highly rated there as well.  I emailed him and heard back in very short order.  We had a couple of exchanges wherein I explained the immediate issue, but also that I would want an estimate for installing light fixtures I've had since Christmas when a handyman did not show up.  I came home from an appointment to find the new exterior lamps already installed on the front of the house and Kevin working on the ones in the rear.  He and my husband had talked about the tasks and he simply knocked them out while at our house.  We discussed the plug for the radon remediation system after he looked at it and will have him back to do that when we have another electrical task for him.  Kevin is a keeper!

All went well on scheduled date and took the estimated time.  Kevin explained everything well.  We were very pleased with results.

Installed user-provided interlock kit and outlet box for portable generator. Rewired breaker in panel to accommodate new 30 amp breaker. Responded almost immediately to all email communications, and was more than happy to explain what he was doing during installation.

Kevin was great. He did a thorough job of troubleshooting both circuits, finding and fixing the problem. All the while he was happy to explain what he was doing. I will be using him for all my electrical needs from now on.

Kevin was professional, friendly,and very attuned to our particular needs. Unlike other electricians that flew in and barely took a look at our situation, Kevin took the time to understand our long term goals and make recommendations that no other electrician made that ended up saving us money and being far more convenient.

I had made arrangements to have a chandelier installed by someone else but they couldn't make the scheduled appointment. . We wanted it insatlled for a dinner party we were having on Sunday, February 16. We contacted Kevin on Friday and explained our situation. He worked us into his Saturday schedule and told us he would call when he was on his way. He called, as promised, and was at the house within the time he committed to being there. He was very pleasant, professional, did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. We discussed having him install 2 new dimmer switches and replacing two light switches. I told him I would buy them and he told me which ones I needed and to give him a call when I had them. I called Kevin Monday about 4:30 PM and told him I had the parts. I was expecting that we would make the appointment for later in the week, but Kevin said he had just finished a job and could be there in 1/2 hour. He showed up within the 1/2 hour and once again did a great job, and cleaned up afterwards. We are thinking of having some recessed lights installed and talked to Kevin about it. He told us when we get ready to contact him and he would meet with us to provide the best solution that meets our need.Great find and I highly recommned Kevin.

Kevin is knowledgeable and professional in all aspects. He gave me ideas for installing my sub panel and I was able to do some of the work myself before he showed up to do the parts that would get me killed if I did it wrong. I plan to use him in the future for my electrical needs when it is over my head. He prices things very reasonable and is available to work around your schedule. I highly recommend him.

I'm selling my home and received a home inspection list that requested a licensed electrician come and evaluate a few things in my home. I requested service on Friday night at 8pm and received an email minutes later saying he could come by to fix things at 10am the next day! He came and assess the issues that I had and was done with all of the list items in under an hour. He was knowledgeable polite and worked quite efficiently. He only was charging me $25 over his basic service call minimum. I thought that was a bit too generous so Ithrew in an extra $25. I will definitely be calling him the next time I'm not comfortable enough with the job at hand. Thank you Kevin!

Kevin was able to trouble shoot problem and he explained what he was doing. Repairs were done fast and correctly without any problems.

He did a fantastic job - talked to us throughout about what he was doing and why. Also noticed a switch went bad for our garbage disposal, so he was able to repair that in the process. He was easy to schedule with, came at the scheduled time, worked efficiently but not rushed, and cleaned up afterwards. We would recommend Dr. Watts to anyone - no schedulers to deal with, you know who you're getting and he stands by his work. He came in under the cost of some of the bigger chains gave us as estimates.

Kevin was friendly and most importantly he was honest and did not try to sell me on expensive fixes for items that turned out to be minor or even non-issues. He gave good advice and was very knowledgeable. It was a good experience and a relief to my wallet when I saw the final bill. We would use Dr. Watts again.

Kevin has done work for us on more then one occasion. Always very professional, clean, trustworthy and fair priced. We have used him for something as complexed as installing a new electric panel in an older home to something as simple as installing a whole house surge protector and every time we were more then satisfied with his work.

Called Dr. Watts for an estimate to wire my detached garage and outdoor patio. Kevin arrived on time and provided a free estimate. He came back the following week and set the outlets, breaker panel and wired the entire garage and side patio for ceiling fans and GFIs. Passed Loudoun County inspection the first time, without any problems. Very professional and knowedgeable. TOP NOTCH!!!! Will definitely use again. Thanks!

Kevin (Dr. Watts) is a very easy electrician to work with. Not only is he an easy-going individual, but he is also very knowledgeable in his field. I have had Kevin do work for me on several occasions and on each occasion he was professional, knowledgeable, safe, helpful and answered all of my questions. He is also one for telling me options that will help improve my overall electrical landscape without the hard sell. All in all, Kevin was courteous (even though I gave him a hard time), reasonably priced, helpful and very trustworthy! I HIGHLY recommend Kevin if you are looking to have work performed in your home.

Dr. Watts (Kevin) was recommened by another contractor so I gave him a call. Two days later he came to provide a free estimate. Two days later he came back and performed the work.

We called Kevin when we were having trouble with a set of GFI'd outlets in the kitchen of our new house, and were unable to get the electrician who had installed them (prior to our purchase) to figure out what was wrong and fix them. Kevin came and within minutes identified that there was a wiring problem such that the GFI couldn't possibly work. He spent some time explaining the issue to make sure we understood what was wrong, then outlined several potential solutions,and gave us a very reasonable quote for the option that we preferred. He came back later at a time of our choosing, completed the work promptly, and then called me several days later to make sure everything was working and we were happy. Kevin was extremely professional, was always prompt, and clearly stands behind his work. I would highly recommend him for any kind of electrical work, and will call him immediately for any future needs.
