The work was done very professionally and quickly. Crew cleaned up everything, including old fence materials. Fence looks terrific and we were very pleased with the entire process.
"So not only are we going to lie we are going to be slanderous. (member name removed) failed to mention the $99.00 maintenance package was deducted from her estimate on top of a 20% discount from the total cost. Yes we did have trouble getting to her at a promised time but that is the nature of the business when you are running behind and trying to keep up with the Spring rush. All Phase Fence contracted to re-enforce (member name removed) existing gates with steel frames and instead removed her gates and replaced them with steel frames and brand new material at no added cost. Yes we did borrow screws to attach additional material to her fence that was not contracted. And yes we made three trips to Home Depot for added material by (member name removed) because (member name removed) did not want to pay for the work she contracted with us until we did the extra things she wanted. All Phase Fence went way beyond the call of duty on this job and even deducted an additional $150,00 from the cost for not getting there on time. So, after 3 trips to Home Depot we had had enough of trying to appease the customer we refused refused to go back to Home Depot and asked to be paid upon completion as it says in the signed contract (member name removed) signed. After our refusal (member name removed)decided she would only give us a check for $250.00 which refused and told (member name removed) to have a nice day and we'll see her in court."
It has been almost four months since I hired All Phase, and so far, they have taken money for materials and have not performed. I have had several dates scheduled for them to install the gates, but they don't show up and they don't call. I have made numerous calls and get promises of completion, but it doesn't happen.
I have a pool, big dogs, and llve in a neighborhood. It is imperative that my gates work properly. Fortunately, they can't be opened as they are now. But, I also can't have my lawn mowed, mulch delivered or anything else in the back yard unless it can be brought through the house.
I am so very disappointed in this company. I think they over extended themselves, and this little old lady can wait while they appease the big dollar clients.
I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Their work may be good (i don't know as I haven't seen it) but their customer service is awful. Granted the snow and rain has been an issue at times, but they have had plenty of time to get this small job taken care of. I have given them the benefit of the doubt, and now am so very disappointed in them, I would never recommend them to anyone.
Update...this contractor took five days to do two gates. He left my gates in a horrible state, unfinished and the workmanship was like first year shop students. He left a gap underneath that my little dog could escape through and he said he was finished long before the gates appeared so. After a vulgar exchange on his part, he proceeded to beat my latch with a hammer, and then left, leaving my yard open to a huge liability. This vandalism was witnessed, so police became involved. I had an amature carpenter come in and make repairs, and the gate is one hundred times better looking and more functional than when this guy left it. His temper, his vulgar mouth and his lacking business sense makes it difficult for me to find any good in his work.

"All Phase Fence is no longer working with Angie's list on "The Big Deal".This idea resulted in these bad reviews and was sold to Angie's list customers by Angie's list, Not by All Phase Fence in the middle of November with winter right around the corner. Unfortunately we were unable to get to everyone in a reasonable amount of time. We have resumed operations for Spring and have contract obligations to fulfill that actually provide an income. I personally as the owner of All Phase Fence have been going to see Angie's list customers and doing the work myself because we cannot afford to pay or crews a minimum $350.00 to our crews for what turns out as $59.00 for each Angies customer served. Please contact Angies list to have your money refunded."
