We could not be more pleased with the final product and the experience we had with Sk Interiors. This was our first remodeling project and after spending too much time on the internet, remodeling magazines, and stores we decided we needed advice from a real person. Sk Interiors was recommended to us. The owner, Susan Kuehhas, listened and cared about what we wanted to accomplish from Day 1. The plan we came up was sensitive to our budget and she introduced us up front to key people she usually collaborates with, including Daniel of XPR. The design/construction chemistry was obvious and resulted in a very smooth project.
We were especially impressed with Susan's experience with local options for cabinets, countertops, tiling, appliances, and other items. Because she knew the best places to go and the key people to work with we were able to efficiently make our choices and decisions. Perhaps Susan's best attribute is that at no time did we feel that she was making decisions for us. We always felt we were in control of the project and could steer it any way we wanted. Because of her professionalism and experience and the fact her advice was grounded in a knowledge of what works best, her guidance resulted in a successful kitchen remodel project that we are very happy with.
The project was a tremendous success! Our kitchen is beautiful! Susan is by far the best person we have ever used for a project in our home - her professionalism, expertise, patience, and determination to "get it right" is unmatched. We have referred Susan to more than six friends in just over a year because we were so pleased with her work. We will not hesitate to use Susan again - she will lead all future renovation projects in our home!
Susan is absolutely outstanding. We undertook a relatively
major project with high expectations and those expectations were fulfilled. We
are delighted with Susan?s designs and the work that was done to implement
them.
Although we started with some relatively strong likes and dislikes, we had a
lot to learn and looked to Susan for guidance. She guided us into make the
right choices without being pushy or judging our preferences. She always
listened to what we wanted, and made positive suggestions. She is amazingly
expert in knowing her craft! Her knowledge of materials, fixtures, colors,
textures, hardware and everything else that is required for producing
outstanding designs. She also went the extra mile to find the best, high
quality vendors and she handled all the headaches associated with ordering and
scheduling.
She also brought with her an outstanding team to work on our projects. Xtreme
Painting & Remodeling is highly profession and did beautiful work. Daniel
is highly profession and customer oriented. He and his crew were quite willing
to work with us to customize the job as it went along, and finished all of
their work on time. Once the crew came to our house, they did not leave until
the job was finished. It?s great having a dedicated crew that is fully engaged
in the project.
We recommend Susan without reservation. She is a talented, personable designer.
The next time we have a remodeling project there is no doubt who we will call.
Everything worked out beautifully. The contractors that Susan works with are all outstanding! And her follow-up is great! I still call her with questions about my appliances or who to call for repairs. She is also super fun to work with. There is not a day that I don't walk into my house and think what a good job she did. I would definitely call her any time I needed anything done and can recommend her without condition!
