In the course of 6 months, we had 3 different HVAC companies make 5 visits to deal with a system that had been compromised by water intrusion.  6 months before that, the system had been inspected and tested and thoroughly serviced.  Bottom line, four reputable companies had been in our home in the 12 months leading up to Shawn's first visit.
From the first meeting, Shawn was the only expert who looked at the entirety of the system and was able to assess each component and overall design.  (Not one of the other experts even noticed that we had a motorized damper; most of them told us it was a control panel for a humidifier that had been removed by the previous owners...)
You will be able to tell from the minute Shawn walks in the door that he is a "master HVAC" expert.  He also has the gift of being able to explain very technical issues to a layman.  And you can tell he loves his work -- it is an art form.
Our split system contains a gas furnace/air handler, unusually sized AC condenser, UV light for the AC coil, electronic air cleaner, manual and motorized dampers for fresh air intake, diverter, and Trane smart thermostat.  He also replaced all of our attic ductwork, and then some -- even finding a supply vent that had never been connected to a supply line and fixing it.
On top of all that, he beat every other estimate we received while providing top of the line equipment (Trane) and extra components most HVAC techs couldn't identify.
No one else will ever touch our HVAC again.
