We recently purchased a 5 year old home south of Farmville, VA off of Five Forks Road. My Wife and I wanted a quick closing on our Dream House, so, I declined to have a Home Inspection performed prior to the closing the first week in May 2014. In May the weather was very nice and we did not need the heat or the A/C. I had turned it on to make sure that it worked and it "Appeared" to be OK. The first week of June we needed the A/C, but it did not seem to cool down the house like it should have. The HVAC is a TRANE product, so I checked the internet for TRANE installers/servicers - the installer of our system neglected to put their business sticker on the installed unit, so, I could not contact the installer for a repair. Brian's Heating and Air, Inc. is one of the TRANE installers which I located on the internet and they are located in nearby Keysville, VA. They had decent reviews, so, I took a chance and contacted them via their website. It was all Smooth Sailing from then on. . .

I was contacted via return email by Brian's Heating and Air's Celina Beachly, who set up an appointment time which was agreeable to my wife and me. I thought that it was kind of odd that the appointment time was specifically at 1:00 PM and not a time range like "From Noon to 4:00 PM" like the service providers in Richmond, VA set their appointments to accommodate the technician if they happen to run into problems on their previous service call. Shows you how much I know - the HVAC Technician, Michael Godsey, arrived at the house right at 1:00 PM, just like Celina Beachly had promised.

Technician Michael Godsey was as Personable, Knowledgeable and HVAC Well Trained as any of the HVAC Technicians from one of the Richmond, VA Major HVAC service providers that have installed and serviced our equipment for the last 25 years in Richmond. Turns out that our Farmville HVAC problem was more difficult to diagnose than I had thought. But, Mr. Godsey was up to the task - diagnosed the problems (a thermostat wire was broken in two places, the system was several pounds low on refrigerant and a few other problems which I didn't really understand), fixed those problems and we had A/C on one of the hottest days of June 2014.

My wife and I were so impressed by the High Level of service provided by Brian's Heating and Air HVAC Technician Michael Godsey, we signed up for a HVAC Annual Protection Plan before Mr. Godsey left for his next service appointment. We could not have been more pleased with all of our contacts with and services provided by Brian's Heating and Air Inc.'s representatives. It was a lucky gamble that paid off for us.

Our appointment was for 1400 hours on Wed, we received a call at 12:30 confirming the appointment. He arrived at 15:20 hours with no mention of why he was late or even an appology. We told him the blower was blowing only cold air when set at 75 degree. We explained that this had happen before while it was under warrenty and they changed the thermostat.. He checked the thermostat looked at the furnace and said I think its the Motherboard. He than called his office (I think) and the person on the phone told him step by step what checks to make to the thermostat and then the air handler. He turned the temperture up to 81 degrees and the blower gave off hot air. I asked why would it do it at 81 degrees and not 75 degrees and he had no answer. He then gave me a bill for $89.00 and told me if it happened again to check the air handler and feel the furnace to see if its cold and to keep a record of it and give them a call. When he left we turned the thermostat down to 75 degrees and within a couple of hours it was cold again.

He was able to explain my problems simply enough that even I could understand. I would definetely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a reliable and professional company.

They were able to have my air up and running again very quickly. I am very appreciative of their services.
