They said they would do the stump grinding along with other grinding that they need to do in the area (Fairfax County), which is not unusual. I emphasized that the stump grinding was a critical part of the job, since I would be replanting in the area. To allow them some flexibility for the grinding part, but wanting to make sure the grinding would be done, I added to the contract that the stump grinding needs to be completed within 30 days of taking down the tree. They said they would be back within 2 weeks. They never did the stump grinding. I called them numerous times - never a call back. It became obvious that they never intended to complete the job. So, it was explicitly in the contract, with a due date and yet it was not done. I would have to consider these fellows unethical, comfortable with in-person, planned deception. Since that time, I checked other review resources and found other reveiws more recent than mine job - each one was negative - not slightly so, but all an 'F.' So likely this rises above the occassional ethical and business lapse to a business practice.
Description of Work: Remove a pine and gring the stump. To be done coincident with other work in the area.
