We used Buddy based on a recommendation from our realtor to prepare our house to go on the market; so glad we followed our realtor's advice on this.  The crew is ideal for doing good quality multiple small jobs around the house and touching up paint jobs done by unskilled homeowners, that would be me.   We feel Buddy's work directly contributed to the quick sale of our house, no doubt.

Mr. Baldwin has done work for us over nearly 20 years and has always provided exception quality with his work.  This time, he repaired several damaged walls, painted several rooms.  The work took three days and was completed on time and well within budget.  We are very picky about how craftsmen leave our house at the end of each day.  Mr. Baldwin always leaves everything neat and clean when he leaves at the end of which day.  He communicates well his goals for the day and always completes them.
Over the years, Mr. Baldwin has painted our house, repaired some exterior finish that needed repairing, has painted the interior of our house several times and has done a variety of other work for us.  He is always timely, within budget and a true craftsman.  We very strongly recommend Mr. Baldwin and would be pleased to provide further references if requested.
We can assure anyone that if we were not pleased with all his work, we would not continue to use him.  But he will always do any work we need done because of his superior performance over many years.

I had some ceiling drywall repair done on a celing and they did a good job on that (Update: NOT), however, there were numerous paint drips/spills on my carpet and on my built in wood cabinets. There were a few drips of paint on my furniture as well. The cuts or lines between the wall paint and baseboard and chair moldings were sloppy in many places as you can see from the attached photos.



The owner (Buddy) arrived with two Guatemalans or El Salvadorians and spent two days painting the MSBR and a foyer's ceiling. Before the work was done I expressly said to the owner to use painter's tape and that I wanted clean cuts. In the end, I would have saved a grand and been happier doing the work myself or having used a better painter. In the end, I found paint everywere and the quality was poor either through lack of skills or lazyness. I even found switchplate covers and an air vent grill that were painted over...It takes @ 30 seconds to take off a switchplate. Take a look at the photos attached to this review.



UPDATE: I was wrong about the drywall work. I just noticied that the seams in the drywall where they did drywall work are showing again! Their work did not hold up.

They did an excellent job. Buddy worked with his crew. They were all very polite and professional. We had no concerns leaving them to paint during the day while we were away at work. They did the whole job in about two weeks. We would definitely use CS Baldwin again.

We get complements every time someone see's our home. Luckily, he advised  us on which types of color hues and combinations to use when we wanted purple and gray walls. He showed us what our original colors would really look like while also showing different purples and grays that would not only look good, but also compliment various other aspects of the room once our furniture was set up. I will be using them again and highly recommend CS Baldwin Painting.

On time, did an excellent job - owner was on site and participated in doing tile work obviously caring about results & finished appearance.
