Mike was very responsive when we inquired about the job; he was always prompt and professional and the end product was absolutely beautiful! He made sure that we were totally satisfied and made sure the yard and patio were cleaned and perfect after the construction of the patio extension.

"First of all this job was completed on 11/22/2014 not 11-09-2015 as she stated and paid in full with a satisfied customer even wanted to talk to me in spring about lawn maintenance !!! Customer had septic system installed in front yard , we provided a final grade after septic system was installed , seeded and strawed . customer called us 6 months later stated yard was very lumpy and hilly well turned out septic drain field settled and that what they were seeing and feeling with lawn mower , customer wanted us to fix free of charge when it was never our fault . The gentleman who installed septic told them they could fine grade after a month or two of installing septic which is false !! holes and trenches have to have time to settle !!"

I was very pleased with the results. The property had been vacant for over a year and the lawn did not get proper care during that time. I live in a covenant restricted neighborhood where there are homeowner association standards for lawn care. I hired this company for an extended contract with the goal of restoring and maintaining the lawn and grounds to meet those standards. My expectations were exceeded. The investment was well worth it. The company was always very responsive to my questions and comments.

It looks great. He does great work. He was always there when he said he was going to be. He gave me a great breakdown of what he could do for me. He came back when he said he would with the estimate. He came with his helper and did the work. He did a good job and cleaned up the mess. I told him about the trees to cut down and he told me how to destroy the root. He said he would cut them down for me and he carried all the remains off.

The problem started on his last day of landscaping when severe weather came into the area, which was forecasted all week long. In other words, he chose a bad time to do the work. During the first night of the completed landscape, severe erosion occurred due to heavy rain where quite a bit of seed and topsoil was washed out.
At my repeated requests, he came back and laid down some excelsior matting with a limited amount of seed beneath it. The lawn germinated with numerous bare spots. For a period of two months, i repeatedly asked Mike to reseed and bring in more top soil to cover the bare spots. Even though this was his fault because of poor timing, I was willing to pay for additional materials if he provided the labor, which was a generous offer from my side. He never did this despite my repeated text messages, emails, and phone calls. His early response was that he would do it but it never happened. And then later he started to say the he would reseed in the fall, which was an unacceptable delay in dealing with the problem and I actually started doing some of the reseeding myself.
My major issue here is that Mike did not properly follow up with initial landscaping problems and he breached the maintenance contract during June by not mowing every week as contracted even though there were no poor weather issues. Now Mike said that he is and quot;terminating the contractand quot; because I am asking too much of him. He got very indignant and arrogant in this exchange because he felt that he could just walk away from this problem.
My mistake was that I did not properly check on Mike's references and I will never use him again. Mike doesn't seem to have time for his customers and when problems occur, he forgets about the customer and service provider relationship.

"this landscape was asked to be done by the member the timing was not my fault you cannot prevent mother nature from running her course .. all issues were corrected . Here at Mike's we do not have a huge team and most of the landscaping is done my myself and one other . i terminated the lawn maintenance contract due to the fact that the member was basically telling me i was doing things wrong and not listening to my professional opinion .. this yard was in very bad shape when i first came in and now it matches all the other homes in the neighborhood .. Honestly i think i added value to this home .. as far as the customer service aspect is concerned i was attacked by the member on these issues telling me he was gonna file lawsuits and such on me .. im sorry but there is just so far you can push a man .. the member is 1 out of hundreds of customers that has had an issue with me .. and i think what makes it even harder is that we were friends from a previous employer where we worked together for 5 years . My company has plenty of references .. if you would like them please email me ."

Mike and his team showed up on a Friday morning and were finished by Saturday afternoon. They cleaned up and removed dead trees and bushes as well as replanted some of the shrubs. The yard looks great, and Mike and his team are true professionals.

Mike was professional from start to finish. He takes serious pride in his work and complete ownership of the job. He provided me with detailed estimates, was open for negotiation on invoice before signing, was prompt, thorough, and courteous.
