I put off replacing my furnace b/c of so many bad experiences…..& I wanted to do some research before hiring someone to replace it. Unfortunately it went out again & I needed someone immediately. I took a chance & called Armstrong after reading reviews. They came out quickly, recommended replacement & provided all information up front. They thoroughly addressed all my concerns…. they were professional, on time and treated my home like their own. I’m very satisfied

Everyone from Hopewell office set up everything, including setting up to having a crane place the HVAC on top of the condo. All the installers were Professional and just wonderful. They gave info on all they were doing. I give them an outstanding rating!

Great job. Armstrong worked with me on a somewhat unique schedule I required and met all of my expectations. Good quality work and equipment.

Annual HVAC maintenance. They arrived on time, were clean and service was performed well.

The work done was excellenrt. The only problem was setting up the time for the work to be done. It was setup for Friday, no show. Called, they said it was not on their schedule. Rescheduled for Tuesday 2:30, Monday they called to say someone was on the way. We couldn't do it then. The tech came Tuesday at 8 am Tuesday not the 2:30 scheduled.

The installation was seamless and they recently came out on a service call and patiently and clearly explained how to maintain the heat pump to me (I have zero mechanical knowledge and I understood the instructions very well). The recommended efficient heat pump is great for our house! I am impressed and would recommend them to everyone!

Very professional work crew. Work was done neatly, and , at a price that was reasonable. I will use Armstrong Mechanical again when needed and would recommend them.

I had an annual contract with this company, then my AC went out on a scorching August day. I called Armstrong Mechanical for service and was told they couldn't get out here till two days later. Apparently, they have no emergency services. I explained that I have a huge fish tank that needs to maintain a certain temperature, then asked could they come out earlier. After a few minutes, the owner came on the line and said his guys' schedules were full and that he didn't want to overextend them. SO, even though I had a contract with this company, I was crap out of luck. Luckily, I got another company to fix the problem and I WILL NOT be using Armstrong Mechanical from this point further.

Both Daniel and Donnie were a pleasure to work with. They were able to come out quickly to give us an estimate for a new AC unit. They were very accommodating and professional. We will call them in the future if we need work done.

Great, Tom arrived later than expected (but that was OK, as they called me to let me know he was running late). He took the time to explain how my furnace worked, then he checked it out and I was pleasantly surprised to find out all was OK. It was another wonderful experience and I will definitely be calling Armstrong again for any HVAC needs.

The first two jobs were handled relatively OK. They did not necessarily arrive on time but the work was completed and the pricing was reasonable (about average). The third job was a big disappointment. I was given a verbal quote of $700 after I had to pay for a service call to diagnose the problem with my compressor. This quote was given to me twice over the phone after the service call and again when scheduling the job. I scheduled the job based on this quote but on the day of the job I received another call that the price will go up to $835. I was explained that they were wrong with the initial quote and that I will have to pay the higher price. I was unhappy but decided to go ahead since I already had to wait for the repair and schedule my day around this job. At this point they also changed the time of the job and I even rearranged my schedule right away. When they called me back later on and told me that they will be in fact coming later than the rescheduled time I finally gave up. All I accomplished is that I wasted $85 on the service call. Bottom line is that you should expect that their quotes may change up and that they are disorganized with scheduling. I will not use this company again.

No work done. Company made no effort to contact me. (I could have called them, but if company fails to call, IMO indicates potential lack of good customer service attitude.) I contacted Angie's list to request refund. Angie's staff requested I instead first give company 2nd second chance. Company again failed to call. If this is a non-issue for you, by all means hire them.

The guy was late showing up for the appointment. He broke a wire and wanted to blame the unit for not operating properly, thus needing additional work. When he was called out on it, he repaired the damage he had caused to unit and the unit once again worked fine.

It went very well. He was prompt, on time, very courteous, and knowledgeable.
