The Upholstery Shop is a two-generation family owned business started by Edwin Colon Sr. and brothers Eddie Colon Jr. and Jeff Colon. This unique establishment has been serving the residents of this area for over 30 years, providing quality customer services. The family’s personalized approach and excellent customer service to work has built the once small store workroom into a thriving business, with client satisfaction as the mainstay of their success. Re-upholstering saves money and gives furniture a custom look! If you have a special piece of quality furniture that is in need of repair or update, it can be reupholstered or slip covered from a large selection of discounted in-stock and/or special order fabrics from leading manufacturers.

Jeffery was helpful in showing us all the possible fabrics we might consider. He then gave us 7 books of swatches to take home to consider. Two days later we had selected a fabric to our liking and informed Jeffery. Because we would be out of town in January, we requested that the work take place then. There was some confusion about pickup of the couches (3 weeks after we placed the order) by Eddie. Nonetheless we arranged for someone to meed Eddie at our home for pickup while we were away.
In mid January Jeffery notified us that the job was complete and requested when it might be delivered. Again, because we were away, we had to arrange for someone to receive them. Upon our return, we were very pleased to find that The Upholstery Shop had done a great job. We have no complaints and are pleased with our new couches and ottoman. I would recommend them for any reupholstery job without hesitation.
