The Screen Man
About us
Welcome to The Screen Man, The Screening Experts. Our company is a small woman-owned business that was formed in 2003 to provide high quality screen repair & restoration services in the Northern Virginia Area. We formed the company when we realized that there was a lack of local companies that provided a full-range of services for screen repair. Many companies do not offer onsite repair, their pricing is astronomical and they cannot guarantee quick turnaround. We can perform onsite repair and get you new screens quickly. We have provided high quality screen repair & restoration services to thousands of satisfied customers. We have also performed porch re-screening using the “Screen Tight” tracking system. We have built removable custom screen panels as well, using the traditional porch re-screening methods. We provide screen repair services to local hardware stores and to some of the largest condominiums in the area. The Screen Man’s priorities are to provide: • High quality screen repair • Customer satisfaction • Quick turnaround • Affordable prices

"Mr. [Member Name Removed], I apologize for the technician's attitude, they should never argue with the customer. I have spoken to him about this. I did discuss the fees initially with you regarding the cost to come onsite and pickup and deliver the repaired screens and the approximate cost for building a new one. We strive to provide excellent service and again I am sorry that you were not satisfied."
"Thank you for your review."
was beyond our expectations.
"HI [member name removed], thanks so much for the review, most people post with complaints. I am glad the screens worked out. Take care, Betty"
"Hi [member name removed], I am sorry we were not able to take care of your issue. My husband Patrick, the one that did your initial screen work was in the hospital for 6 weeks battling for his life during this timeframe and unfortunately he passed away. Our business was on hold during that time and you can imagine how difficult it has been for me. We are operational again and I hope you will consider us if you have any future issues with your screen. Thanks, Betty"
"Thank you (Member name removed), we were glad we could help you. We have the most knowledgeable technicians in the business and we hope you contact us again for all your future screening needs. Thanks, Betty"
So, I called Patrick and he stopped by my home, picked-up the screen, re-screened it himself (with a higher-quality screen than my original!) and brought it back to me, at my home, the next week.
If every tradesman, company, etc. was as reliable, friendly, honest and professional as these folks, we wouldn't need an Angie's List!
"Thank you (Member name removed), we really appreciate your great feedback. Please feel free to call on us for all your future screening needs. Thanks, Betty"
