A body shop that does not seem to care about your body or their human body. I was shocked to see office staff not masked up when customers came in. Not a fluke, on both of my visits in this cramped office in October 2020, staff not using masks, plus no plastic barriers at the service desk, and no hand sanitizer for customers. Did they not get the 2020 memo that a pandemic is in progress?! (This was October 2020, months in to Covid.) Not a good experience. No updates on how car repair was going, they had the car for 2 weeks. In this day of texting and e-mail, unacceptable lack of communication. After 13 days I called and did not get a return phone call, I had to walk down to Suburban to learn the status of my vehicle's broken sunroof glass, not a huge job here to fix here folks. When I asked about my call not being returned they said the answering machine was somewhere in the back shop and they had not gotten to it. My insurance adjuster said he also had turtle slow responses from Suburban. You can do better folks, do shop around. When I asked about them not wearing masks during customer visits, they just shrugged. Customers were wearing a mask like myself, but not the folks in the front office at Suburban! Dr. Fauci, please come and visit these Suburban Auto Body folks and educate them to protect me and themselves, for the good of all.

Went fine. Mirror replacement was a 1 hour job and they did it separately from the bumper. Wanted that done first as it is a safety issue. Scheduled bumper for a more convenient time. The mirror was done while I waited. They were flexible on the scheduling.

Excellent. After being rejected by other body shops who "don't work on totals", Suburban looked at the car and deemed it eminently fixable. Mike, the service agent, indicated they would give me a firm price after removal of the damaged tailgate. We talked the next day and agreed to a price of ~$5,300. Additionally, I requested a quote to paint the whole car which came in at ~$3,300. I accepted the proposal and authorized the work. On Monday's I would stop in to see how it was going. The first time I stopped in the tailgate had been removed and the damaged right rear panel had been repaired. They pulled the panel straight instead of replacing the panel via cutting and welding. I was extremely happy to see that as it's a much less intrusive repair. Mike indicated that was why the price was as reasonable as it was. On ensuing Monday's I would stop in to see the progress and they were working in an extremely professional high quality manner. The final stop in was to see the paint and the reason for the the what I thought high price was the car is de-trimmed prior to paint. The pieces are all painted separately and then reassembled. Thus no masking and paint lines anywhere to show. When we finally picked up the car it looked spectacular. Mike had polished the headlights as they were a bit hazy and replaced the bumper step plate as the recycled one was a bit unattractive, all at no extra cost. The job took a bit longer than expected, but the car looks like it's brand new. Excellent work guys. I've already referred two people to you! Thanks

I brought my 8 yr. old Infiniti to Suburban Autobody, thinking that it would need a new front bumper because of numerous shallow scrapes and paint marks.  The manager instead suggested that it could be repaired easily.  They cleaned off the paint marks with some type of solvent and then buffed it....an easy fix and it looks great.  This senior citizen is happy to give them an A rating!

I was quoted one price, close to ~$900.00 for the possible damage/repair, which was less then another place that I had gotten a quote from. But when the actual work was done, they found not as much was damaged, and it was less. I am so grateful for their professionalism, and their honesty in their work. It was done well, and continues to look and work well. I hope I don't need them again, but if I do need any kind of body work, I will go straight to them. I can not recommend them strongly enough!

They were able to perform the work when we went on vacation and did a fantastic job. Absolutely no hiccups at all--very pleased!

After my car was hit while parked at a Whole Foods, we looked on Angie's List to find a good repair shop. Suburban Auto Body lived up to their reviews and did not disappoint. They were extremely responsive, worked quickly and for a fair price. They gave us advice on what should and shouldn't be fixed. I found them very trustworthy, not just trying to more money out of me. Additionally, they made going through the other person's insurance very easy when it came to matching the estimate and picking up/returning the rental. I was very happy with the final outcome – my car came back all shiny and looking like new! Will definitely use them again.

Repair done quickly (within 2 days) and expertly. Our motorcycle is a Harley Davidson Heritage, anniversary edition, so it is a very special bike to us. We were assured that the utmost care would be given, and it was. The fender looks like new! The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and confident he could do the work without delay. We have had numerous experiences with this vendor and they have never disappointed.

I was very impressed with Suburban Auto Body.  I'm in the midst of restoring an older car and wanted to have the windshield replaced as well as some minor rust repair done around the windshield.  They informed me of the process and gave me both low and high estimates of the work (high estimate was for a windshield replacement if the original cracked during removal).  They put up with me visiting each day to see progress and take pictures.  They were a joy to work with.  The work they performed was very good.  They even thoroughly washed the car and cleaned up the interior before giving it back to me.  I will use them again in the future.

When I scheduled the work they said bring it first thing in the morning which I did. I was told that the car would be finished the same day. They said they would call me when the car was ready and they never called. I waited until around 5 o clock and then I called them. They told me that the car would not be ready until tomorrow. I have no other form of transportation and they said that it would be done in one day originally.

Clean office, reasonable estimate, car was ready the next day. People seemed very professional. Washed car before I picked it up.

Very pleased. Car looks like new. Mike was great to work with. The car was ready at the time promised and they did an outstanding job. Paint matches perfectly and my car is a 2003. I would highly recommend them.

Outstanding in every respect. These guys are pros, and very nice people on top of that. They even gave me a ride home (I live in Herndon) after I dropped the car off and it was ready when they said it would be. They just charged me what my insurance company (Geico) estimated it would cost. I really am glad I found ths place (thanks to Angie's list) and I highly reccomend them.

The bumpers look great. The paint color is a perfect match. Had the car back in a couple days. The price quote was better than others I had gotten.

Our very low mileage 1998 Mercury Sable was in a minor accident. The insurance company totaled the car. We knew the car had cosmetic damage only and wanted to get it repaired. I went to Suburban Auto Body for the repairs because they were close to my residence and they had high marks on Angies List. My experience at Suburban Auto Body ranked an A. The reception area is clean and staffed by professionals who know the ins and outs of estimating damages for repair orders and most important --they know the ins and outs of dealing with different insurance companies. They handled the whole deal and I was very pleased with that. The car was in the shop for about two weeks for repairs. As with many collision repairs sometimes there is damage not seen until a detailed disassembly occurs--in my case there was some hidden damage and more parts were required not originally forecast on the first estimate. Again they took care of everything--the process was very smooth. The quality of the repair and paint work was first rate and professionally done. The only dart I can throw at them is they need to do a better job of calling the customer and keeping them informed of the status of the repairs.

A young man took a look at it and advised that it would take about 30 minutes. I came back a few days later and they completed the repair. There were no problems.

We needed the bumper on our Dodge Grand Caravan replaced and Suburban was recommended by a friend. Their quote was exact and the work was completed on time. When we went to pick up the van though, we were unhappy with the cut/fit of the new bumper over the existing bike rack hitch. We expressed our views to the manager... and he agreed with us! He and his crew had the bumper recut and refit in a timely manner and we are now very pleased. It was such a pleasant surprize to have a provider AGREE that a job needed some additional work. This is an outfit we can work with! THANK YOU!!!

Fantastic. What a great shop! I wish I knew that they were there before. I brought in my daughter's car for an estimate to replace the passenger-side mirror, which she ripped off pulling out of the garage. Unlike the three other places that I called, the super polite guy on the phone said that I could stop by for an estimate any time that they were open. I dropped by the next day and he took a look. After looking, he suggested that I get a mirror assembly from the dealer if I wanted the job done fast. He said that they could also order it, but it would take a little longer...so I took him up on the idea and got it myself. Note - that means that they were not interested in marking up my parts! I brought the car in the early afternoon the next day with the part, which only included about 5 of the 15 parts in a VW mirror. By the next day, they had it all installed and painted...and then one guy waited for me to pick it up before closing the shop...and it was New Year's Eve. In total, I dealt with three different guys in this shop and each one was polite, courteous, and professional...and the final price cannot be beaten. Great shop!
