After getting a ding in my windshield on my 2014 Subaru Forester that quickly transformed into a large crack necessitating it be replaced, I called the dealer to find out about getting it done. They stated they did not do windshield replacements but refer all customers to Star Autoglass.

I called Paul at Star and discussed the work. He was prepared to come the next day to do the install, but since the car had a heated wiper feature, he needed to special order a replacement, but it only delayed the project by one day.

Paul showed up on time and even gave me a 30 minute heads-up call. Once here, he got to work and replaced the windshield, making sure to reconnect everything and transferring all the decals from the old to new glass. He was very efficient, knew what he was doing, and cleaned up the area after finishing.

Paul also pre-treated the windshield with a protective glass coating that doesn't prevent dings, but helps protect the glass from all the associated road hazards. It was an add-on to the cost of the windshield but was reasonable. He also didn't push it on me, I saw it on his web site and requested it.

After finding Star on Angie's List, I called to make an appointment and was given a time the very next afternoon. When I arrived, I was shown to a small waiting room where there were chairs, magazines, and a Keurig coffee maker, and was told to please help myself. There were a couple of large dogs on the premises, but they were friendly and quiet and I never felt threatened by them.
My new windshield was installed in less than an hour. The man was polite and professional, and left my car just as clean as he had found it.

They came to our house. They guy who came was courteous and friendly. They did the stuff and changed, there was no problem. It's been fine ever since. We made appointment and they showed up. I thought the price was good. I would use their services again in the future.

I go three bids for the work and Star's price was the best. They said their technician would come to my house between 9:30 and 10:00 and he did. He was professional and finished the job in less than an hour, answering all my questions along the way. Very satisfied.

The gentleman who booked the appointment said they'd call me the next morning between 8 and 9 to give me a window, but I never got a call. Before 10am I got a call and the repairman was at my building. No complaints, though...I met him at my car and unlocked it, took care of the payment, and I was free to go back to work. When I left for the day, the windshield was fixed...I appreciate that they came to my work and made things easy for me!! A less-than-5-minute phone call and a 5-minute meeting at my car and my problem was solved. The only reason I gave them a "B" for punctuality is because I didn't have a time frame to expect their arrival (since I didn't receive a call), but this was a minor issue.

I made an appointment and visited Star's shop, which is kind of tucked away in a residential neighborhood. The owner was very friendly and did the work quickly while I sat with the shop dog in the waiting room. The repair was done really quickly and was about a 90% improvement, as promised and better than paying for a new windshield.

Great! I was impressed. I called at 12:45 and at 2:45 they came to the vehicle which was at my workplace. Within 20 minutes the glass was replaced. AWESOME!!!

I checked prices at about 10 places and Star was the least expensive. They were also recommended by the dealer where I bought my new car. Star looked at the crack and suggested that it should be covered under my warranty. The dealer agreed, had Star replace it while I was at work, and it didn't cost me anything! The installer arrived when he said he would and was very quick (45 minutes). He even salvaged the registration and other stickers from the old windshield and replaced them perfectly straight. Star called to follow up. I would definitely use them again but sure hope I don't need to.

I called and they came out that afternoon to my house exactly at the time they said they would be there. The windshield exactly matched the windshield that was replaced.

Our 1997 Saturn had a long crack that appeared during a cold snap of weather. We were able to get an appointment right away and they came to our house to fix the glass. (They will also come to your workplace to replace your auto glass.) The technician came on time and was very courteous and professional. The price was reasonable and they had the replacement glass in stock. Overall, it was a very pleasant and hassle-free experience!
