Ron is true professional. He knows and understand cooling/heating systems. Before finding Ron, we tried multiple companies - with little satisfaction. The servicemen appeared to go through a set checklist of issues - without recognizing/correcting the problem. A friend recommended Ron. He provides a great service, does his work at a fair price, is courteous, understands how HVAC systems work and knows how to fix them.

We had a home warranty company that was just bad. They sent out people who couldn't figure out why the coil was leaking and Ron Rudolph, who I've known a while and has worked for me said, "Oh, it needs to be cleaned." They came out with a cleaner thing, cleaned it off and it was better. He looks for ways to save you money and also keeps products to a minimum, but at the same time, he addresses and fixes the problem. He's very reasonable. He has the homeowner's interest at heart.

He really had my interests in mind, he was talking about potential replacement and repairs in the future and how he keeps the cost to a minimum and repairs to a minimum. I asked him a question about something that other A/C people didn't know and he said it was something I could fix on my own.

I would use them again in future.

Ron took my phone call at 8 pm this evening to help me with a malfunctioning thermostat (furnace would not work with this issue).  He stayed on the phone with me for 30 minutes to diagnose the problem and walked me through how to resolve the problem (it was a defective thermostat)  No heat at 8 pm in the evening - we were in a very tough spot and Ron picked up the phone right away and was the consummate professional he has always been.  He did not even request to be paid (but we will certainly be 
Ron is simply the BEST service professional we have ever encountered in 15+ years of home ownership.  He is responsive, extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and really is a consummate professional.   We consider ourselves very fortunate to be a client of his.

Ron replaced two warn out HVAC systems three years ago when we moved into our current residence. He did a great job with replacing the units and provided us with a great price. He was referred to us by our Realtor. A couple of days ago we started having problems with the upstairs HVAC unit tripping the main circuit breaker. Called Ron and he came out the next day. He spent about an hour trouble shooting the problem. We were unable to duplicate the problem of the circuit breaker tripping. Although Ron spend an hour of his time during a busy season for him he would not accept any money for the and quot;house call.and quot; He told me to keep an eye on the circuit breaker and call him if the problem persisted. I can't say enough good things about a business owner who provides that type of customer service and support!! Reliable and honest service!! I highly recommend Ron when you need a new HVAC system or are in need of HVAC service.

We have used Rudolph's HVAC for more than 10 years.  Ron is reliable and his prices are very fair. He doesn't have the overhead of the big companies and it's nice to work with the owner/operator.

I was concerned about the condition of my aged Condo heating and cooling system. Four service providers told me that I needed to replace my current system. Based on Angie's reviews I selected Rudolph's HVAC of Herndon, VA to replace my current system. I chose a basic unit and there was no and quot;hard selland quot; to upgrade to a more expensive unit as suggested by two of the other service providers. Ron, the company owner, installed the replacement system. He was prompt, polite and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

Ron always provides excellent service at a reasonable price. All repairs are completed without a problem. I've never had to call Ron back for the same issue.

Ron did a fine job servicing our A/C unit. Responsive and straightforward. Will call him again when we need work done.

I had to provide a thumbs up for Ron even though the work had been performed several years ago; the date I entered is an estimate as i don't remember quite when we got the new unit installed. I had an old oirginal 1984 Trane a/c and heating unit in my home. When we bought our home, the a/c failed on us within the first week of moving in. The first a/c company we hired had no idea how to fix the problem, and we ended up with Ron coming out to take a look. He immediately identified the problem and fixed our unit. We had Ron service the a/c-heating every spring and fall after that. We finally decided to install a whole new unit because our heating/cooling bills were so high. We got an estimate for a similar unit from one of the big box home improvement stores, and their estimate was double the one Ron provided us. He installed the a/c and heating unit in two days all by himself. He was incredibly thorough, efficient, and neat. Ron is the ultimate professional in his field. He is honest, fair, and really knows his trade. I couldn't ask for a better contractor for my a/c-heating needs; he calls every spring and fall to make an appointment to check on the unit and always arrives on time as scheduled unless an emergency call comes in. He also installed a new electric air purifier and a humidifier when our old ones failed a few years later, also at a very fair price. I recommend him highly. I have recommended him to all my friends and colleagues . Now if only I could find a plumber and an electrician who can meet these same high standards, I would be all set.

My experience with Ron was about as good as I could've hope for. Honest and hard working. We couldn't beat his price - the professionalism and honesty was pure bonus. He did not try to oversell us a product we didn't need and he was forward-thinking when we told him we might add a second floor.

Bottom line - hire him. We are planning on rehiring him soon to extend the HVAC into our new second floor addition.

Ron Rudolph came out to give us our third quote to either fix our old system or replace the existing system. He was the only one out of the three companies who took the time to find the actual refrigerant leak. Intially, he was going to fix our old system by replacing the coil section in the air handler which is almost 10 years old. However when he went to get the price for replacement coil, the price had risen significantly, and would cost close to a third of that of a new unit. My husband and I did not think this would be a good risk because if the outside unit went bad we would be stuck because our old system that used R22 old type refrigerant. Mr. Rudolph's price quote came in between $800-$1500 less than others quoted.

Ron came as scheduled, on time and ready to work. He showed me the new thermostat and told me how it would also control the humidifier from upstairs--no need to go in the basement to manually adjust anymore!

He was quick, neat(paper booties) and and provided all the paperwork for me to register my system to get warranty activated. He gave us a 10 year labor warranty because he felt so confident in the equipment he installed. He was very professional and not at all pushy. He answered all our questions in a timely fashion. Mr. Rudolph was recommended by one of my friends. I'm glad I made the call. He will be doing all our service work from here on out !

Ron showed me how to use the thermostat - most importantly how to override it. I love that he programmed it after hearing what I needed and then showed me the only two things I ever need to do with it. I don't have the time to read the manual.

Earlier this year he performed our annual maintenance. About 6 years ago he replaced one of the two systems in our 20+ year old home. Does a great job keeping the other one going.

We have used Ron Rudolph for years to take are of the heating and air conditioning at our home and recommended him to others. High time we got him on Angie's List!
