PTC Plus

My home office all-in-one printer wouldn't print well, and none of the "self-help" recommendations from the manufacturer worked. I found PTC Plus on the manufacturer's website and gave a call. It's a one-man shop located way out in the 'burbs (from the perspective of this city dweller!), but WELL worth the trip. The location is easy to find in a small office park type setting. The office is well-maintained and simple -- nothing fancy, but just right for the work. The proprietor was clear about price (which was reasonable), what he would do (and what he would not do without checking with me first), and how the repair process would unfold. He finished his work a day early, and my printer is working well again. He provided polite, friendly, professional customer service, getting the job done with a minimum of fuss, and staying in touch throughout. Until now my printer has been very reliable, so I hope I won't need his help again for quite some while. I'm writing this review in the hope that others will find him and help keep this gentleman in business!

Contacted PTC Plus because my online search showed they were an Epson certified servicer. I have a small, home all-in-one printer. It's a one-man shop, and Hasan is extremely polite and efficient. We discussed both drop-off and pick-up times over the phone, and he was there exactly as promised both times. He explained what he expected needed to happen and went through a brief diagnostic with me. He gave me a turnaround estimate assuming that his planned treatment would work, and he was able to meet it on the nose. I am thrilled to get a few more years (I hope!) of life out of this printer.

I called PTC and described the problem and I was told my printer could likely be fixed in just a day or two, as Hasan (sp?) recognized the problem.   He was also very clear that I should call first to be sure that he would be at the shop for both the drop-off and the pick-up, which I appreciated.   (Apparently he is in and out a bit.)   I was very pleased that he was able to fix the printer within 24 hours, and he even took the time to tell me a bit more about how to clean it.  I definitely recommend him.

PTC Plus is one of the few places that still repairs printers. I called them because my Canon printer (over 5 years old) was printing fine in black, but was messing up the colors. I asked if he could repair that. He said yes, but then said that 90% of the time, that's caused by a bad print head. He asked the model of my printer, then told me I could get the part cheapest from Canon, and gave me the part number and Canon's phone number!
While the part was in transit, I watched a YouTube video on how to remove and replace the print head. It's easy.
I got the part today, put in the new print head, and my printer works great! I didn't get your name, sir, but THANK YOU.
If my printer needs service in the future, I know who I'll call.

.While it took me three tries before I found the shop open PTC Plus provided excellent service. They could not duplicate the problem I had but took all steps necessary to thoroughly check out the printer. The owner also offered to pick up the printer if the problem returned after I got it home. He also offered to obtain an exchange from Canon if it was still acting up. Printer is still un der warranty until Feb 26, 2014

They recommended me to buy a new fax machine because mine is no longer made. They are really great. They are honest an excellent. You deal with the owner of the firm which is a good thing.

Mr. Godani did an incredible job fixing both machines. He worked quickly and did a fantastic job at great value. I had more issues with my printer and he fixed these and replaced parts with no additional charge. It works absolutely beautifully now.
