While I did not get the morgage refi it was not due to Prosperity. Get sold comps before applying for the mortgage to see if your house will appraise.

The one thing I really did not like is their sales tactics. Apart from that he was fine. He was not very responsive.

We had a little bit of a rocky start because when I called I got no call back. When my real estate agent heard this, he spoke with the company and learned that the person I had called was out sick with a long-term illness. Another woman (Sue) called me back and could not have been any more helpful. She must have run dozens of sets of numbers for me as I tried to figure out what would be optimal with regard to down payment vs. size of the monthly mortgage payment. She had many helpful suggestions and was available close to 24/7 as best as I could tell. Even when I called at 7:00 in the evening she picked up the phone and would talk at length with me. She also closely followed the interest rates and helped me get a great rate --at closing no one could believe the rate I got with no points. The final closing costs were higher than she predicted, and she sent me this with a detailed list of differences and an apology that she had not predicted one of the more expensive pieces. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!
