Payless Contractors

I emailed Payless Contractors originally on April 10 for an estimate on our project and when I didn't hear back a week later, I emailed them again. I received a call from them on April 19th and sent them our architects drawings the same day. On April 21, they emailed back asking to schedule an on site visit. I emailed them back our availability for the upcoming week the same day. On April 24, I followed up on that email after no response was received. On April 26, Payless Contractors responded that they could come out that Saturday. I replied, same day, letting them know we would be out of town and asked again if they could share their schedule for that next week. They replied on April 27 saying they could come out on May 3. We met on May 3 at our home and Raj did a site visit. He gave a rough estimate of $120 per sq ft for the addition. I asked him for a detailed estimate and to this day I have not received one despite emailing him again on May 9th as a reminder. I am disappointed by Payless Contractors that they could not turn around an estimate in over a month and would not recommend them. Since then, we have learned that Payless Contractors is not licensed and we are pleased not to have done business with them.

We have used Payless to do our bathroom renovations and they always do excellent work for a fair price. They are easy to work with and responsive.
