The only upside is the person who delivered the mulch was very very nice and just did what his boss told him to do. Dump the bags. What a poor way to do business and it is totally on management!

I met with Jill a couple of times before work actually began.  She took my thoughts into consideration when designing my backyard patio and walkway (I plan on doing the front yard in the near future).  The crew that did the work were very hardworking (Ishmael rocked!!) and we're professional.  Now that we've gone through one winter and I see where I can do more things, I'll be giving Meadows Farms another call.  Great work.

They were responsive at first.  The plan was drawn up  and since it was a very large area we suggested that we go with some smaller versions of the same plants.  I was advised not to do that.  They said it would be probably be a two day job.  They came and worked very hard and planted what was agreed to, however  one group of plants we got were so small without any leaves on them.  They looked pathetic.  I went to a local nursery and found the same plant that looked beautiful and much, much bigger.  The ones I bought were  $60 dollars a piece, plus $20 planting fee, and we had a lot of them.  So I called them without and they wouldn't replace them.  The ones I got looked like a piece of twig in the ground.  The other areas that I wasn't satisfied with is that they rushed the job and didn't work the soil or add very much of the soil supplements to the area.  I watched them myself. They put a handful of stuff on  after they planted each plant. It should have been a two day job.  Some of the plants had their root ball still exposed. The size and quality of the Japanese maple wasn't impressive either and it was very expensive and the ones at the nursery were bigger, looked healthier and a lot less expensive.  Some areas I'm glad they did, but definitely would of done more myself and selected my own plants to get better quality plants and to work the soil more.  I've planted a number of plants in the same area.  Mine are doing better than what they planted.

Brian was very easy to work with. Anytime we contacted him, he was very responsive. He had a lot of helpful suggestions and ideas. The service was great!

They worked hard, but some of the plants are so small that it will take years for them to grow big enough to cover the yard. And several sections of the yard have no plants. Therefore, it's caused more maintenance for me than the previous plantings. The plants cost about double what you would pay retail, but that includes them delivering them and planting them.
I am also still waiting for some plants that I paid for months ago to arrive. Not sure why they have problems getting plants, since they're available at other places. Customer service did not apologize for the delay and didn't have a date. I have followed up a couple of times to see when they would arrive, and finally heard that it won't be til fall.
MF needs to be more proactive with their customers - I guess it's not that surprising since the retail MF garden centers are not very customer service oriented either. I would probably use them again, but have the feeling that other service providers take better care of their customers.

I had a landscape designer come up with a plan for landscaping around a basketball court that I was planning to build early in the summer. Due to permitting delays, the court was not complete until mid fall but the company graded the area, installed the evergreens, etc very quickly after I made the decision to go with them. The scheduling was very easy and the crew did a good job cleaning up after finishing the work, leaving my driveway in great condition.
I probably did not get the lowest price but I enjoyed working with the designer who works for them and felt confident that they would meet my needs with the least amount of worries. They have a lifetime warranty on plants that they install which I hope not to have to test but it gives me some peace of mind in case the installed plants die.

We had to replace the shrubs and bushes and they were less expensive and good. I have been using them for almost two years. They are convenient and I have never had any problems. They do not have consistent quality and we have to pick and choose the plants. I would go back to them just because of their convenience.
