I explained that I wanted to order a basket of flowers (due to a death in the family) but I wasn't quite sure what kind of flowers to request. She gave me some possibilities and said the arrangement would be made up that morning and that it would be delivered to the home with in a few hours. I heard back from the family and they said the flowers were beautiful!
Description of Work: provided an arrangement of flowers that were delivered.

 + 0 moreMy sister was arriving at Union Station in the early afternoon of June 5. She wanted to visit my parents gravesite at Arlington on the way home. She also suggested we leave a small bouquet. I thought it best to get it on the way into DC. After searching Angie's List, Herndon Florist seemed the best choice because they were both highly rated and relatively close to home. Turns out, the rating was fully justified. I spoke with a nice lady who had some good suggestions. She also had the bouquet ready when I arrived at her shop. Lovely bouquet and good old fashion customer service. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Herndon Florists has provided funeral sprays and casket flowers for for longer than I like to recall. They have always been responsive, prompt, understanding and artistic. Their pricing is very reasonable. I hate to have to use their services ( I'd much rather but a bouquet for a ladyfriend), but will not hesitate to do so should the need arise in the future.

 + -1 moreEach time the owner Ann Harvey does a wonderful display. She uses good quality flowers and will give you ideas for your occasion. Very professional and a wonderful person to deal with.
