The electrician that came to my house was nice, professional, and was able to diagnose the repairs that needed to be done: a fuse and a bad wire. He listened to the steps I took to troubleshoot the problem myself, and offered some helpful advice to prevent any repeat problems.

We used Bert and his team to renovate a guest bath, do drywall repairs, and replace baseboards in 2 bedrooms. We were exceptionally pleased with all aspects of working with Bert. He was very responsive when we first reached out and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the work. He had a very fair price and had good suggestions throughout to give us the best outcome and save money where it made sense. He and his team were very conscientious in the quality of their work as well as how they treated our home. They always left the work area in great shape at the end of each day as well as starting and finishing the job on time. We will definitely use Bert for anything else we need done at our house and highly recommend him.

The job went absolutely great. Bert Peters arrived on time, worked continuously for 1 full day. His workmanship was beyond expectations. We have worked with Bert for 25+ years, with him working on many projects in our home. He is now doing work for our children in their homes as well.

Hire at your own risk. Bert sounded very professional and knowledgeable during the initial visit; however as he got into doing the actual work, I understood I needed to do a lot of hand holding to get the work completed and even then about third of work was not completed and I had to find another contractor last minute to address remaining items. What was supposed to be a one week work, took three weeks with Mr putting a hard stop date. I had to wait for two weeks for trash being removed from my driveway after the awning over the garage was removed. I also found few big nails which could have popped my tires if I drove over them. Trash was continuously left unattended for three weeks the work was done at my house. Bert did not provide exact days and times he will be doing work. There were a lot of "maybe I will be here Thursday or Friday" when I asked him to let me know when he will be doing work. The work he did on sealing my tree house roof was unacceptable as during the rain, I got the inside flooded. I was not going to ask him to try to fix it as I understood he did not know how to do this work, which should have been raised to me right away before the work was quoted/started. I asked him to replace "one rail" from one section of wood lattice under the deck. Instead he cut out half of my lattice sheet along with the rail and then said he could not find the right material to do the replacement. Instead he wanted to do vynil lattice, which was completely different size and it would be "extra" cost to do do it. I have the wood lattice all around underneath the deck and did not want to do just one piece in vynil which was a different size material. It would have been professional if he checked the availability of materials and talked to me about unavailability before cutting half of it out. I had to hire a different contractor last minute to finish the tree house and lattice work. There was also unfinished painting job related to this work I will have to do myself. I am giving two star rating because the completed wood work was actualky ok, but a lot of hand holding, stress, leaving trash behind, foul language earned a low rating for this job.

"This customer was the most difficult and unfriendly person that I had to serve in my 27 years of service. We were constantly micromanaged never seemed to be satisfied and always wanted things to be done contrary to what was originally agreed to. He wanted additional work done and was not willing to pay for the extra work. I communicated with him about the trash removal prior and proceeded to pick up on the day I promised to dispose of it. Prior to starting his work, I informed him the I was in the middle of a project and that I would not be able to be at his job daily. We discussed a schedule and agreed to., but he still had a problem with it. He would call me and complain about my absence. I recall on this very hot day temperature was around 90 degrees we were working outside and needed to have drinking water the customer never offered us water. I tried ringing his doorbell but he never came to the door. After numerous complaints with most of them not justified I decided to cut my losses and we came to an agreement of end the experience. I will never work for this customer again and I’m ever sorry that I meet him."

Excellent. This was done in the archway separation between the living room and dining room. Done in a very timely fashion. Required much cutting, painting, caulking, measuring, and of course clean up. It requires precise planning, measurements and installing. Bert Peters did a terrific job. We’ve used his services 25 years, and is a 5 star professional. We will certainly call him for future projects.

Excellent. His team did an excellent demolition of the old floor without damaging surrounding tiles. The team worked full days and cleaned up all their work at days end for the several days of the job. They precisely measured and cut the tiles to make a brand new shower floor. Absolutely would call Bert Peters and Classic Painting and Remodeling again, as we have for the past 20+ years.

Excellent. It was a 2 day job. Bert and his 2 man crew did a great job. They arrived on time. They had to create many drywall holes in the ceiling and wall to fish wiring through. They spackled and painted everything to perfection. Bert and his crew were wonderful in assembling a complex crystal chandelier, which took dexterity and patience. They also measured, and precisely hung, a large painting on one of the walls, along with two decorative wall moldings. Bert and his team are perfectionists. This same team recently added new lighting in our daughters home. This job also went very smoothly and with a beautiful outcome. We’ve used Classic Painting and Remodeling with Bert Peters for over 20 years and many projects. And we will call him again for the next project.

We hired Bert and his company to paint almost all of our 3 level house, including ceilings, trim, and chair rail installation. We knew it was going to be a big job, which would take some time. Bert and crew exceeded our expectations in getting the job done efficiently and in a timely manner, with top notch quality. The crew showed up on time everyday and put in a full day’s work. They took care to protect the worksite and left it clean at the end. Even in my situation of working from home during the pandemic, they went out of their way to be respectful and polite, and they followed all safety precautions, including mask wearing throughout the entirety. We were extremely satisfied and will hire Bert again with no reservation!
