BUNDLE OF ROSES

I actually stopped using this florist personally as their service is just plain terrible. I asked Teleflora not to use them when I order but they still do. Teleflora has lost my business as a result of this florist's mess. I ordered a large floral bouquet (for my daughter) and a Congratulations balloon and teddy bear (for my grandson). He had surgery this past week and this was to say "congratulations -- you made it!" A houseplant with a card that read "sorry on the loss of your mother" was delivered. When my daughter realized the mistake upon opening the card she ran out after the delivery person. He got of his vehicle and finally found the correct flowers. However, it was a VALENTINES DAY balloon and there was no bear with the arrangement. My daughter did not know the bear should be there and imagine her surprise a half hour later when the delivery person returned with the bear! I posted a "F" review here for Bundle of Roses in 2008 and quite honestly, I cannot believe they are still in business. I avoid them at all costs and will now avoid Teleflora at all costs as they insist on using this florist no matter how terrible the service.

My mom and sisters sent me flowers through a florist my mom always uses in Utah. They contracted with Bundle of Roses who delivered the flowers my mom ordered. I took a picture of them and sent a text with the picture to thank them. My mom called me immediately and asked if I thought it looked like an arrangement worth $70 I said absolutely not and couldn't believe she paid that much, not counting delivery and tax. She called the florist she used to place the order and they couldn't believe there were only 12 flowers in it, they said they would have only charged $3 per flower so the arrangement should have been twice the size. The woman from Bundle of Roses said she would re-deliver but wanted to talk to me first. When I spoke to her she tried to convince me that my mom got a good price and that we got what we paid for. She never had any intentions of re-delivering and was rude to all involved.

My aunt had a gift basket from this florist delivered to my home and the contents were less than what my aunt had ordered. The fruit was OK and the crackers and cheese were from unknown off-brands, the real problem was the wine; when I removed the foil, there was gunk underneath. I cleaned the neck of the wine bottle and when I touched the corkscrew to the cork, the cork fell into the bottle of wine. I called my aunt to thank her for the gift and tell her about my experience and she asked if both bottles of wine were the same way... I told her that I only had one bottle in the basket; apparently she had paid for more than what Bundle of Roses had delivered. I went to the store to tell them about my experience. When I arrived at the store, I heard a male voice say that "____ you have a customer" and then I waited for approximately 3-4 minutes for someone to help me at the counter of this small florist. The woman I spoke with, initially, tried to convince me that the bottle of wine wasn't bad (I brought the bottle with me in the original condition with the corroded cork, gunk and all right in front of us) and then tried to get me to come back to the 'delivery service' to pick up another bottle of wine... I told her that I didn't have time to make another trip out to the store to pick up another bottle of wine (that would likely be as cheap as the first.) The woman finally agreed to deliver a replacement bottle to my home. The woman was holding the order my aunt had placed in her hand but refused to show me the exact order that my aunt had placed to so that I could confirm the contents. I imagine that most people don't review the contents of a gift basket with the person that sent the basket and I wouldn't have mentioned anything to my aunt if not for the bad bottle of wine. The bottom line is that the contents of the basket were of poor to dubious quality and I got less than what my aunt had paid for with the gift. All this to say that I was very dissatisfied with my experience at Bundle of Roses

A friend sent flowers to me as a gift. I took a picture with my phone and sent it to my friend to say thank you. He was astounded that the arrangement was so small because that was not what he had ordered. He sent me a picture of what he ordered through Teleflora. He contacted Teleflora who had the florist send out a new arrangement two days later. When the new arrangement came it wasn't any better than the first arrangement. Bundle of Roses just elevated the flowers and added baby's breath to make it look fuller. By doing this the back of the arrangement looks horrible. I can only set the vase where you can see the front of the arrangement. Bundle of Roses is a company who is associated with Teleflora but does not give their customers the same arrangement that was shown on Teleflora's website.

Bundle of Roses was the cheapest price anywhere. The flowers were beatiful.

Our daughter ordered flowers online for our thirty-fifth wedding anniversary which is September 15th. The first problem is the flowers arrived SIX days early. I called to thank our daughter and she was shocked and severely disappointed that the requested delivery date was obviously ignored. She has made plans to take us out later this month but it was extremely important to her that we have something from her on the exact date. This was this company's first step in horrific customer service. Secondly, the flowers sent were, for the most part, DEAD. It was a mixed bouquet. The full size roses were past their bloom and turning brown around the edges. The day lilies were bruised with dark spots and curling in at the edges. The miniature roses were so far gone as to crackle like dried paper and the sweetheart roses lost all their petals on the first day. The water in the vase had a brackish smell which indicates it had been standing, with these (or some other) flowers in it, for some time. The arrangement, which I have had for only two days, is ready for the trash (it actually was ready for the trash when delivered). I was not in my office when they were delivered or I would have sent them back on the spot. I have a small bunch of flowers on my desk that I bought at Harris Teeter for five dollars a week ago that looks a hundred times better than the florist's arrangement! I have called the shop twice during their posted hours and no one answers the phone. I emailed the address given on their site and no one responded. I am totally disgusted with this company. I have yet to tell our daughter how horrible the flowers are as she would be heart broken. The first thing she would want to do is replace them and I will not have her do that as she works extremely hard for her money. I feel that the company should reimburse her the FULL amount of the money she paid; one, for not delivering on the specified date and the other for delivering flowers that should have been thrown away, not made into an arrangement. As an aside, do not be taken in by the photo of the cute little florist shop on their website. The number on the door does not match their address and while there is one prominent in the picture, there are NO parking meters in the Town of Herndon. I lived within five minutes of this shop for almost thirty years, the shop pictured is NOT the one described on the site. Finally, these people had not been listed on Angie's List prior to this report; however, I did find other negative reports on other sites and blogs. I wanted to be certain the good folks who are a part of the Angie's List community were made aware of this vendor!
