Great: sold gold and silver. Easy as pie. They paid a great rate after evaluating all that I had, which was a lot collected over time. Went back the second day with even more and had the same experience. While the price of Gold and Silver is at Record highs, it is a great time to get rid of it and make some spending cash.

Aspen did a great job and gave me back my ring looking as good as new!

Very, Very happy with this jeweler and wish I did this sooner! The price was great and both my engagement/wedding ring were polished and cleaned in addition to my requested service. My ring was done in about a day, 4 day earlier than originally stated. I will use them again in a second.

I was given an inexpensive sterling silver ring with paste stones that I loved - for sentimental reasons and because I loved the design. I decided to get a copy made in platinum with real gems. I took the original into Aspen Design and Kacie gave me her expert attention. We took stones from a number of odd pieces I brought in, she supplemented with a few that we ordered and the jeweler created an exact copy of the original! I am VERY pleased with the result and will readily go back with my next jewelry creating endeavor, or purchase.

They accommodated me with a and quot;while you waitand quot; repair, versus a 2 week normal repair wait.

Asked for the two services and Rick worked the necklace, while I was and quot;fittedand quot; for the ring. Rick said it would be two week and it was. Band was cleaned and fit well.

I would definitely use this jeweler again, although it did seem to take longer than I thought it should to get my ring back. It was almost three weeks before they were done.

RoI checked Angie's List for jewelry repair and found many positive scores and experiences for Aspen Jewelers in Herndon. I felt that their service was very thorough and professional, and now my granddaughter can wear her grandmother's childhood cross and chain. I'll use them again if I need to.

Everything about my experience with Aspen Jewelers was excellent. I took in three delicate pieces of antique family jewelry that were each well over 100 years old. They had been languishing in a jewelry box for years unused because of needed repairs that I thought impossible because of the delicate designs or too expensive. I was overjoyed that the Aspen jeweler was able to repair each piece to usefulness at such a reasonable price. The necklace and the lovely little bar pin will be worn by brides in the near future to link their weddings to family members long since gone. The beautiful antique ring that I wore as a young girl I now am able to wear daily and will be able to pass on to others who will love it as I do.

I not only highly recommend Aspen to others and will use them again, but I will never go anywhere else for repairs of treasured pieces. I have not had them design jewelry for me, but the way that they were able to repair my ring to usefulness makes me know that their master jewelers can create whatever someone would want. We purchased some jewelry while on vacation and have brought it Aspen for further work. The people are very professional and have a lot of knowledge about their profession.

The appraiser I worked with, Larry, was very knowledgeable and punctual. His appraisal was fair, he worked around my schedule, and really appreciates the art of jewelry. I dropped off the ring set in the morning, and picked up the rings and appraisal that evening. He made two official copies of the appraisal for me so I could keep one and give the other to my insurance company.

Excellent experience. Brought my wife's engagement ring to have the diamond reset since several tines had broken and the diamond had come off. Aspen examined the ring, documented its characteristics and told it would be ready in two weeks. It was - sent an email confirming it was available for pickup. They charged $85 for this repair. (consistent with other similar work we've seen on Angie's list). Also, on our initial visit they examined my wife's wedding band, which had been severely deformed several years ago and was unwearable. They reshaped the ring while we waited and returned the ring to us on the spot - she was able to wear it home. They did not charge us for this repair.

I contacted Kurt via email and he was very responsive. When we went in the store we asked for him....he was very professional and we felt comfortable with him doing the work on my wifes rings (which required them to be left with them). The service was great and will definitely be using them again.

We found Aspen Jewelry Design through favorable reviews on Angie's List. The repair work on the wedding ring was pretty basic and done for a good price. For the replacement engagement ring, they had a decent selection of nice diamonds, which we viewed separately from the rings. They were low-pressure, and steered us toward a diamond that was appropriate for what we were seeking (right size, right color, right clarity, right cut) rather than pushing us toward a diamond that was more than we wanted. After we made our decision, we sat on it for nearly a week before making the purchase. During this time, they followed-up, but did not pressure us. In closing, the diamond was the right one for us; the setting and ring were very nice; and the price was very fair. (Diamonds, being what they are aren't cheap, but I felt like what we paid was very reasonable, especially when taking into account some prices at other stores. -- We prefer not to share cost, and it would not be a good gauge for readers as price could vary widely depending on what you need.)

The ring is just gorgeous! My husband has been showing it to everybody. They did an outstanding job. They told us it would take 2-3 weeks, but it was done in 1 week. We didn't comparatively price them. I would absolutely hire them again.

The overall experience was wonderful. I was very nervous about leaving my diamonds with someone I didn't know, but felt comfortable choosing Aspen after reviewing previous comments on Angies List, and after visiting their shop and talking to David, their designer. After describing my thoughts on what I was looking for, David made an initial sketch and emailed it to me. I asked for some changes, and he quickly complied. He described the entire process and gave me a quote that was close to the final price. It was still a bit expensive, but in the end very much worth the final result. My only issue was that I had assumed the appraisal was included in the quoted price, and when i picked up the ring I found out it was an extra cost.

We (my fianc and I) found Aspen Jewelers listed here on Angie's List and after reading the very positive customer feedback we decided to see what they had to offer. When we entered the store we immediately felt at ease with the casual atmosphere which was much less overbearing then some of the other high end places we visited. The gentleman that assisted us (Larry) was extremely helpful, he quickly narrowed in on the style of ring we were interested based upon the descriptions we gave him until we found the ring that was perfect for us. The price was very competitive and Larry was never overbearing or pushy during this process. We paid for the ring, left him the diamond and Larry told us the ring would be ready with four or five days. A couple days later I received a phone call from Larry to inform me that he emailed a sample ring appraisal form along with the actual diamond appraisal spreadsheet for our stone. The information was very detailed and I was left with a feeling that I was receiving service usually reserved to people who have much more to spend then I do. Finally as advertised, the ring was ready for pickup five days later and the final product exceeded our expectations. The job was performed with very skilled workmanship and put a nice finish on what was a very pleasant experience from beginning to end.

They actually worked with us when buying an engagement ring. Even though we got our ring and diamond somewhere else, they were very helpful, nice, no pressure and knowledgeable. They also have good diamond prices on lower to medium grade stones.

My supervisor is from Brooklyn and the only man I know who buys jewelry regularly for his wife. He recommended Aspen to me. They are like an old fashioned jeweler but with some amazing, creative jewelery. The work was perfect and they cleaned my ring to look like new. They also told me to bring it back every 6 months or so and they will check to make sure the ring is still secure. I highly recommend them.
