A-1 CYCLING

A-1 Cycling can get a little busy on a Sunday afternoon, but even though they were a little backed up, they let my wife and I know that they were aware that we were there and needed assistance.  After a short wait, I spoke with a desk agent who works on bicycles and told him what our story was.  He said, "Well, let me take them over to the maintenance bay and have a look".  I wasn't really thinking that they were going to work on the bikes that day, in front of me.  Other shops that I've used have wanted to take the bikes and come back in a week.  He started to put the first bike on a lift and I said, "Hey, you don't have to do this right now, I can leave them" and he said, "if I can fix them now, we don't have to store them.  Do you have time to wait?"  Surprised, I said, "Sure".

Twenty minutes later, the bike mechanic has adjusted my wife's gear problem, inflated the tires on both bikes, greased the chains on both bikes and cleaned all the cobwebs off of them and tested the breaks.  All appeared to be in order.  I asked him about some additional parts that I was looking for and he showed me where I could find them.  There was no hard sell about what parts to choose and he stayed with us to answer any questions I had before settling the bill, which was very reasonable.

I felt that the staff was very attentive and accommodating.  They listened to my concerns and addressed them.  They provided great service and didn't try to sell me accessories that I didn't want or need.
